• CFD simulation of gas-solid two-phase flow in air classifier for moist fine coal

    A two-dimensional computational fluid dynamics(CFD) model is developed for the air classifier of laboratory scale using the Realizable k-ε turbulence model and Euler-Lagrange's method of discrete phase.Obtain the distribution of airflow velocity,static pressure,turbulent kinetic energy in classifier.Simulate the motion trails of coal particles in different sizes.Simulation results show that setting slant-ranked separation blades can create pressure and flow step in classifier,enhance the flow field above the guide plates and promote coal carrying effect of fluid.The guide plates setting in classifier create a strong flow between the feeding inlet and light products outlet,which is beneficial to coal separation.Guide plates and slant-ranked separation blades in classifier can weaken the turbulence and increase the collisions with coal particles.As moist fine coal feed in classifier,small particles are dragged to the light products outlet by gas flow and big particles fall along the slant-ranked blades to the heavy products outlet by gravity.Collisions can enhance comminuting and separate the particles in aggregation for the middle size particles.For large size particles or aggregation,collisions are weak.

  • Technical transformation of coal slime water processing system in Pingshuo No.1 coal preparation plant

    To resolve the problems of excessive slime accumulation,thinning of filter cake and reduction of pressure filter handing capacity in Pingshuo No.1 coal preparation plant,analyse the size composition of underflow and overflow of classifying cyclone,find that the size of underflow and overflow is large,the ash of underflow is high,while that of overflow is opposite.Transform the slime water processing system by adding the first-stage and second-stage project,coarse slime separation and recovery system.In the first-stage project,recycle fine sandstone before slime feeding into thickener.In the second-stage project,the fine sandstone is separated from slime.The slime and fine sandstone are recycled by two recycling thickeners in two stages.After transformation,the high-ash fine sandstone mixed in slime reduce,decrease the load of thickener,stabilize the operation of pressure filter and thickener,avoid the clean coal pollution.The coal preparation plant increase clean coal yield 8.649×105 tons,sales revenue 4.63×108 yuan per year.Save the maintenance and material cost,reduce the workload,increase the processing capacity of coal preparation plant.

  • Transformation of coarse slime separation system of Shenjiazhuang coal preparation plant

    Due to high coarse slime content in Shenjiazhuang coal preparation plant,there were lots of problems such as coarse flotation tailings,high middlings loss and dense medium consumption.Based on the separation principle and application effects of TBS,transform the coarse slime separation system with TBS.Increase the raw coal desliming sieve water chute flow as well as flushing strength,add diversion plate in order to improve the efficiency of desliming sieve.Shorten the inclined plate spacing of inclined plate thickener,improve angle of inclination to reduce the content of coarse soil particle in overflow.Replace the small mesh sieve plate and increase the water jet equipment to improve the efficiency of dense medium.The results show that,after transformation,the yield of +0.500 mm coarse grain in inclined plate thickener overflow decrease from 10.10 percent to 2.10 percent.Flotation pressure reduce significantly and the clean coal recovery rate increase obviously.TBS for coarse coal slime has great separation effects.Dense medium consumption and middlings loss decrease by 1.11 kg/t and 4.76 percent respectively.

  • Flotation agent reduction measures in Xinjulong coal preparation plant

    There were lots of problems in Xinjulong coal preparation plant.The contact time between flotation agent and slime was short,the collecting performance of flotation agent was poor,the dosing process was uncontrollable.Transform the flotation system by adding dosing equipments and points,lengthening the contact time between agent and slime,adopting appropriate collector based on the slime properties,adding visual dosing tank.After transformation,the flotation agent decrease from 0.34 kg/t to 0.27 kg/t,clean coal extraction rate increase from 68 percent to76 percent,sometimes even over 80 percent.The mass ratio of collector and frother increase from 12:1 to(18~20):1.The concentration of clean coal is high,the stability of foam is bad.The discharging period of pressure filter maintains about 100 s.The coal preparation plant saves agent cost 2.757×106yuan.

  • Experimental study on slime water sedimentation in Dashucun coal preparation plant

    The analysis of slime water characteristics of Dashucun coal preparation plant show that,the overflow contains lots of extremely fine clay minerals,which lead to poor slime water settling effects,large medium consumption,unstable production.To resolve the above problems,select poly aluminum chloride(PAC) as coagulant and polyacrylamide(PAM) as flocculant,research their influence on coal slime settling effects,determine the best dosage and appropriate adding method of the coagulant and flocculant.Replace PAC with ferric chloride(PAFC),then conduct controlled trials,verify the settling effects of PAC and PAM combination.The results show that,when coagulant dosage increase,slime water become cleaner,and the slime compression effects become poorer.When the flocculant dosage increase,settling velocity of slime increase,and slime compression effects first improve,then become worse.The combination of PAC and PAM is the most suitable for Dashucun coal preparation plant.The settling effects get best while PAM dosage range from 500 g/t to 700 g/t and PAC dosage range from 25 kg/t to 30 kg/t.The research provides reference for Dashucun coal preparation plant transformation.

  • Optimization design of Shagou coal preparation plant

    The analysis of Shagou raw coal show that,NO.1 coal is medium-ash,fragile,difficult-washed coal,which contains large slime and gangue.NO.2 coal is high-ash,ultra-washed coal,while the nature of NO.3 coal is opposite to that of NO.2 coal.NO.2 and NO.3 coal contain parting and large slime.Based on the products structure and equipments selection of Shagou coal preparation plant,divide the process into raw coal preparation system,desliming system,demedium and dewatering system,TBS raw slime separation system,medium recycling system,flotation and slime water treatment system.Determine the final separation process:Gangue whose particle size ranges from 100mm to 50 mm is removed by moving sieve,separate 50.0 mm to 1.0 mm particle,1.00 mm to 0.25 mm raw slime,-0.25 mm fine slime with pressurized three-product dense medium cyclone,TBS and flotation machine respectively.Layout main workshop,preparation,concentration and product workshop,conveying belt corridor.The optimization design has lots of advantages such as reasonable products structure,advance separation method and equipments,high automaticity,convenient for operation and maintenance.

  • Capacity expansion and process renovation of Huoerxinhe coal preparation plant

    The process flowsheet analysis of Huoerxinhe coal preparation show that,-0.5 mm slime can't be separated effectively,the dehydration efficiency of coarse slime is low,the production capacity of slack coal is insufficient.The analysis of slime properties show that,the density fraction of -0.25 mm slime is nonuniform,its distribution likes an olive.The three main density fraction are 1.3 kg/L to 1.4 kg/L,1.4 kg/L to 1.5 kg/L and 1.5 kg/L to 1.6kg/L.When the clean coal ash is 10.50 percent,the theory yield of flotation clean coal is 77.53 percent,the theory separation density is 1.518 kg/L and the δ±0.1 content is 40 percent,the washability is difficult.Transform the coal preparation plant by adding the flotation process and slack coal processing system,replacing horizontal centrifugal dehydrator.After modification,-0.25 mm slime can be separated effectively,improve the clean coal yield,dehydration efficiency of coarse slime and handing capacity of slack coal system,decrease the handing capacity of thickener and slime water treatment system pressure,the coal preparation plant increases sales revenue 2.256×108 yuan per year.

  • Application of biological desulphurization technology based on 3DMINE

    The coal desulfurization methods include physical,chemical and biological method before combustion,sulfur capture technologies during combustion and flue gas desulfurization technologies after combustion.The feasible and environmentally friendly method is coal preparation technology and biological technology.Expound the removal mechanism about organic sulfur and inorganic sulfur.Introduce that biological desulfurization methods mainly include microbial leaching,microbial flotation and microbial flocculation method,analyse their advantages and disadvantages.With the help of 3DMINE software,adopt the Inverse Distance to generate the ore body on borehole interpolation and the Ordinary Kriging to assign the ore body with sulfur content,and the 3-D ore body model is set up finally.Analyse the sulfur content of ore body combining the physical and chemical desulfurization method before combustion.The results show that,the sulfur content of NO.6 to NO.2 coal seam,ranging from 0.59 percent to1.00 percent,1.00 percent to 1.72 percent,1.72 percent to 2.47 percent,2.47 percent to 2.93 percent,except the first one,desulfurize with coal preparation,biological and biological method.After desulfurization,the sulfur content of last one still ranges from 1.00 percent to 1.19 percent,which need to remove based on the organic sulfur removal mechanism.

  • Commercial coal dynamic quality management system in Guqiao coal preparation plant

    Analyse the production process of steam coal and slack coal separating and regulating system in Guqiao coal preparation plant.The results show that it's necessary to combine and optimize the slack coal separating and regulating system.Based on the production process and workshop scale,evaluate the washing quantity of slack coal with commercial coal dynamic quality management system.The new type separating system can automatically control washing quantity.Duo to the new system,the maximum error between product ash and requested ash decrease from 0.67 percent to 0.37 percent,the minimum error decrease from 0.09 percent to 0.The adjustment error is requested in the range of -0.5 percent to 0.5 percent.So the new system meets the demand.The fluctuation range of washing quantity decrease from±80 tons to±30 tons,reduce the labor intensity,improve the stability of system,the commercial coal quality can be adjusted as requested.

  • Operation standard of Eschka method for determination of total sulfur in coal

    According to GB/T 214-2007 Determination of the total sulfur in coal and practical experiences,using quantitative analysis chemistry experiment knowledge,expound the details,standard operation method steps in the process of Eschka method for determination of total sulfur in coal from the aspects of coal sample ignition,water extraction,precipitation of barium sulfate(BaSO4),filtration,washing,ignition and the like.The ignition temperature and time should be controlled accurately when the mixture mixed with coal and Eschka is ignited.Wash the crucible thoroughly with about 50 mL hot water while transfer the ignited mixture from crucible to beaker.Precipitation of barium sulfate should be performed under the conditions of " dilute solution,hot solution,slow drop,stir and aging".Filtration and washing are continuous processes.Filtration includes three steps which is decantation filtration,transferring the insoluble matter to filter and washing the residue or precipitate.When burning BaSO4 sediment,roll the filter paper into pyramidal shape,which is used to hold sediment,put the filter paper bag into crucible,then put the crucible into the cold-vented muffle furnace.Ash the paper gradually at 200 ℃ to 250 ℃,then heat it for 20 minutes to 40 minutes at 800 ℃ to 850 ℃.These studies provide the standard operation method and elaborate test procedure which enhance the maneuverability of the test project and ensures the accuracy,reliability and stability of the test results.

  • Comparison of typical lignite drying technologies

    Analyse the principle,technical characteristics,key parameters of lignite drying technologies at home and abroad.Evaluate these technologies from the aspects of technology adaptability,process condition,drying effects,environmental influence.The results show that,the K-Fuel technology requires larger size of feed lignite than other technologies,so its adaptability is a little poorer.Treated by the investigative technologies,the upgraded lignite can be used as boiler fuel.The higher drying temperature,the better drying effects.The Zemag and K-Fuel technology operate under pressure condition,and other technologies operate under normal pressure.The technologies can reduce the moisture 7.0 percent to 25.0 percent and increase the calorific value 3.24 kJ/g to 5.94 kJ/g.The product of BCB,HPU-06,Zemag technology is briquette,whose size are adjustable.Treated by two other technologies,the product size is smaller than the feed lignite.Shenzhou technology has a large possibility to suck back,it also has an inapparent improvement on spontaneous combustion of lignite,while other technologies have better effects.The five technologies all have less impact on the environment.

  • Research on syngas to aromatics

  • Comprehensive utilization of pulverized coal pyrolysis product coke powder

    Biomass direct-fired power generation is the second most important renewable energy power generation technology,wind power generation is the first one.Currently,environmental impact assessment is regarded as a precondition of project to approve and set up a file management in China.The engineering data provided in the feasibility study phase can't meet the requirements of EIA engineering analysis.How to reasonably determine the concentration of flue gas emission,thus evaluate the feasibility and rationality of the evaluation methods,and forecast the impact of atmospheric pollution,have become prevail problems during the preparation and review of EIA reports.There is still no related evaluation specifications in China,EIA have great differences in ascertaining the flue gas emission source.Taking one 1×30 MW biomass power generation project as example,determine the biomass direct-fired boiler smoke gas source method based on the connection of analogy method,material balance algorithm,measurement method and relevant experimental data method,with an aim to improve the related specifications that have not been promulgated in China.

  • Research and application of coal gangue disposal technologies in coal preparation plant

    Coal gangue is the solid waste produced during coal mining and preparing.The gangue,generated by Jining NO.3 coal mine,were transported from coal mine by truck,which harmed the production and polluted the environment.Rising naphtha and diesel oil and high maintenance cost increase the transportation cost.To resolve this problem,install large-scale toothed roll crusher and gangue outward-transporting belt,cancel hand picking gangue process,collect the gangue from each gangue generating site,then uniformly dispose.The new program reduce the labour intensity,accident rate and operating cost,realize cleaner production.

  • Influencing factors of Liulin coal seam permeability and its fuzzy comprehensive evaluation

    Coal reservoir permeability is one of the crucial parameters for favorable coalbed methane development zone.Through analysis of the coal seam permeability of Liulin area and a large number of coal seam gas exploration and production information,conduct two major factors influencing the local coal seam permeability,which are coal body itself condition(primary pore structure,fracture of coal body structure,coal body structure) and coal seam saves conditions(depth,the crustal stress,the reservoir pressure).According to the permeability of multiple coal seam changes greatly in this area,apply multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to establish the coal seam permeability evaluation index system.Based on the mathematical model of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of permeability,this area is established the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of permeability.Based on the evaluation results,the coal seam permeability of Liulin area is on the level of medium,the evaluation results are consistent with the measured results,which offer a new method to predict permeability level of ore district or mining area.

  • Change law of gas concentration in upper corner based on least squares method

    During the period of 16122-1 working face coal winning,monitor the working face air volume Q,daily output A,gas concentration in upper corner C.Fit the above three data and get gas concentration variation curve.Analyse the fitting method and effect.The fitting results don't match perfectly with the theoretical results.Combined with the actual conditions,investigate the reasons.The results show that,the change of C and A is synchronized,while Q has the opposite effect.The least squares method is achievable.

  • Determination of total moisture in coal

    The total moisture in coal is one of the most important valuation indicators for coking coal.The steam coal is evaluated by the low heating value of received basis.A 1 percent increase in total moisture would decrease about calorific value 260 J/g.The accurate determination of total moisture can reduce the quality dispute between supply and requisitioning parties and make the coal valuation more scientific and fair.Through many years' practice,provide feasible operating methods for the evaluation of steam coal.
