• Influence of vibrated fluidized bed parameters on fine lignite separation

    Introduce the structure and working principle of vibrated fluidized bed.The analysis of 6mm to 3 mm,3 mm to 1mm lignite separation experiments show that,when the separation density is 1.7 kg/L,the washability of lignite is medium.Adjusting the vibration intensity greater than 1,separate above two kinds of lignite in vibrated fluidized bed.Investigate the influence of gas velocity,vibration intensity,bed height,lignite moisture on separation.The results show that,when the fluidized number is 0.3,the vibration intensity is 1.5,the separation effect is the best.From top to bottom,divide the bed according to the volume ratio of clean coal and gangue,which is 7 to 3,the ecart probable is 0.202 and 0.225.With the increase of surface moisture,the separation effect gradually become worse.For clean coal and gangue,when the surface moisture content is less than 4.5 percent and 2.0 percent respectively,its impact can be ignored.When the bed height is less than 70 mm,its influence on separation is little,while the height is more than 70 mm,the separation effect dramatically become worse.So the choice of bed height should take full account of separation effect and handing capacity.

  • Influence of operation parameters on separation performance of flotation column

    Introduce the role of flotation in coal preparation,along with the operation principle and separation characteristics of cyclonic micro-bubble flotation column.Conduct the experiments to explore the impact of drug dosage,feeding concentration and cycling pressure of middling on separation effect through laboratory-scale flotation column system.The results indicate that,the ash content of concentrate first decrease,then increase with the drug dosage increase,it also increase with feeding concentration and cycling pressure.When the frother dosage is less,the concentrate yield first decrease,then increase,which first increase,then decrease when adding more forther dosage.Increasing the collector dosage and feeding concentration,the clean coal yield first increase,then decrease.The clean coal yield increase continously with the increase of frother dosage and cycling pressure.The perfect index of flotation first increase,then decrease with collector dosage,and increase continuously with frother dosage.Under the condition of low cycling pressure,the perfect index first increase,then decrease with feeding concentration.When the cycling pressure get higher,it decrease continuously with the increase of feeding concentration.The slime flotation effect is the best when the dosage of collector and frother is 1600 g/t and 350 g/t respectively.During practical production,under the premise of satisfying clean coal ash,through controling moderate circulating pressure and limit the feeding concentration less than 100 g/L can get better separation effect.

  • Application status of medium draining screen in Chinese coal preparation plants

    Describe the structure and working principle of banana screen,horizontal linear vibrating screen and inclined linear vibrating screen,analyse their major parameters.Combined with the application status of medium draining screen in Chinese coal preparation plants,introduce the application status of medium draining screen.The results show that the special structure and material movement can make the large particle enter into oversize products quickly and small particle move along the screen surface which can compare with screen mesh many more times.So for small particle,the banana screen is more appropriate.Due to higher stability and realibility,Horizontal linear screen is more suitable for these coal preparation plants which mainly separate large coal.It's widely used in the medium draining process of coal preparation plant.Inclined linear vibrating screen is mainly used in preparation plants which mainly separate small coal,improving the handing capacity during medium draining process.But the material of this kind of screen easily overflow,so it's important to feed uniformly and keep optimal overflow weir height.

  • Technology transformation of lump coal reject discharge system of Jining NO.3 coal mine coal preparation plant

    Jining NO.3 coal mine coal preparation plant had following problems:large amount of coal gangue and waste rock belt,constant moving sieve jig maintenance,unstable undersize fraction of lump clean coal,too much handing capacity of lump clean coal crusher and so on.High content of slack coal(-25 mm) in moving sieve jig,limitation of moving sieve jig itself and imperfect system are the main reasons.By comparing the separation features and applied scope of dense medium bath and inclined/vertical lifting wheel separator,the coal preparation plant replaces moving sieve jigging conveyer system with dense medium bath sorting,whose higher limit of separation is limited to 200 mm.The particle size of lump coal after cracking is limited to 200 mm.Determine the technological process of coal conveyor system.After transformation,the yield of high value-added lump clean coal increase,creating profits about 2.1 ×107 yuan per year,it only takes seven months to recover cost.

  • Technical transformation of Bailong coal preparation plant

    The Bailong coal preparation plant had the following problems:the separation density fluctuated widely,coarse slime leaked into slime water,the effect of slime flotation was bad,the separation consumed large dense medium.To resolve these problems,install square strainer,slime classifying hydrocyclone group and sieve bend,quantitatively add dense medium and dilution water,add thin pipe to moisturizing pipe,change feed composition of centrifugal dehydrator,adopt clean ore reclean,fit the transfer line of centrifugal to magnetic separation system.After transformation,the coal mixed in gangue decrease,the coal quality and separation efficiency improve.Benefit from stable separation density and coarse slime recovery system,Bailong coal preparation increases 1.3863×107 yuan per year.

    Introduce the cause of high ash ultra-fine slime and its influence on slime flotation.Elaborate the working principle and technical features of cyclonic micro-bubble flotation column,establish its laboratory-scale system,conduct the separation experiment of Pangzhuang mine coal slime and optimize the experiment results.For clean coal ash,the effect levels of influencing factors successively are feeding concentration,collecting agent dosage,foaming agent dosage.For tailings ash,clean coal yield,flotation perfect index,recovery of combustible,the effect levels of influencing factors successively are foaming agent dosage,collecting agent dosage,feed concentration.The optimal flotation condition is that,the collecting agent dosage are 1600 g/t,the foaming agent dosage are 250 g/t,the feeding concentration are 80 g/L.Under this condition,the ash of clean coal and tailings could reach to 10.65 percent and 52.35 percent,the clean coal yield is 59.76 percent,flotation perfect index is 51.39 percent,combustible recovery is 74.14 percent.The comparison of size composition between slime and clean coal show that,the clean coal ash reduce by 17.48 percent,the-0.074 mm fraction reduce by 22.29 percent.The results show that the cyclonic micro-bubble flotation column has better separation effect on Pangzhuang coal mine slime,especially on the high ash ultra-fine slime.

  • Application of three products heavy medium coal preparation process in Tangshan Chun'ao coal preparation plant

    Complex coal resources and wide coal quality fluctuation in Tangshan Chun'ao coal preparation plant led to lower clean coal yield.Analyse the advantages and disadvantages of dense-medium separation and jigging,pre-desliming and undesliming separation,pressurized feeding and unpressurized feeding,then determine the main preparation process is three products heavy medium cyclone process,which is undesliming and unpressurized feeding.By comparing spiral,TBS and dense medium cyclone,adopt the last one to prepare slime.At last,combining the above two techniques as the proper preparation technology of Tangshan Chun'ao coal preparation plant.The slime water of tailings is concentrated by filters,the washing water is recycled.The adjustment of products and slime water treatment system is flexible.The results show that,the inlet pressure of three products dense medium cyclone can reach up to 0.2 MPa,the coal mixed in gangue is less than 1 percent,the ash of clean coal and gangue is respectively less than 10 percent and 70 percent,the ash of middings is 35 percent,the handing capacity stabilize around 160 t/h,sometimes can reach up to 200 t/h.

  • Measures to reduce dense medium consumption of coal preparation plant

    The dense medium consumption was extremely high in coal preparation plant of Tangshan Coal Mining Industry Branch Co.,Analyse reasons from technical and management aspects.The results show that,poor magnetite powder quality,bad effect of spraying screen and magnetic separator,imperfect daily management lead to high medium consumption.Resolve these problems by improving dense medium quality,increasing mesh size of arc medium screen,improving the water spraying effect of vibration sculping screen and engineering level of operators,optimizing the working position of magnetic separator,decreaseing leakage,strengthening technical inspection of the medium consumption.After transformation,the production levels off,accident time and dense medium consumption decrease,production efficiency increase.The dense medium consumption reduce from 3.41 kg/t in 2010 to 2.20 kg/t in 2012,economizing medium 4840 t each year,about 4.356 ×106 yuan.

  • Technological reformation of Quandian coal preparation plant

    There were many problems in the original process of Quandian coal preparation plant,the clean coal yield was low,medium and drug consumption was high as well as the concentration of circulating water.To resolve these problems,sort coarse slime separately,broaden the seam of partial sieve from 0.75 mm to 1.00 mm;replace the high-frequency screen and high-frequency vibrating dehydration screen with TBS and Dirick fine sieve,replace the flotation bed with flotation machine,add NFH electromagnetic automatic flotation reagent injection pump,adopt TLT8840 organic cohesion agent with TLT8623 flocculants instead of original flocculants,design automatic dosing system.After transformation,the coarse and clean coal can be better dewatered,reduce the handing capacity of flotation system,avoid the coarse slime sneaking into slime water.The recovery rate of clean coal increase by 1.20 percent,the ash of tailings reach up to 55.18 percent,the flotation reagents decrease from 0.86 kg/t to 0.64 kg/t.The concentration agent for tailings,circulating water concentration,and medium consumption reduce by 10 g/t,22 g/L and 20 percent respectively.The economic benefits of coal preparation plant increase by 3.0564×107 yuan per year.

  • Medium consumption reducing measures for Alxa coal preparation plant

    There were lot of problems in Alxa coal preparation plant,the quality of magnetite powder couldn't reach the standard,large gangue mixed in raw coal,the medium draining equipments was overran by large suspension,the design of spraying screen and dosaging method was unreasonable,clay minerals in slime were large.To resolve these problems,control the magnetite powder quality by testing index,inspecting regularly,examining the products selectively.Prepare suitable discharging outlet for underflow,adjust the insert depth of central tube regularly,install anti-clogging automatic alarm device,add stationary screen in front of sieve bend,adjust the application parameter and magnetic declination of magnetic separator,increase sprinkling pressure,add sprinking tube and screen baffle,adjust screen aperture and plate,stabilize the slime content in suspension around 40 percent through shunt device,transform the dosaging spots and measures of flocculant and coagulant.After transformation,the efficiency of magnetic separation reaches up to 99.9 percent,the medium consumption reduce from 5.04 kg/t to 2.00 kg/t,the circulating water concentration reduce from 15 g/L to less than 5 g/L,the clean coal quality can be controlled in a range of 9.5 percent to 11.5 percent,save cost 2.8×106 yuan,the economic benefits is 1.5×107 yuan per year.

  • Influence of carbonization time on pore struture and electrochemical performance of coal-based activated carbon

    Coal-based activated carbons as supercapacitor electrode materials were prepared from Taixi anthracite with KOH as activator.The pore structure and electrochemical performance of activated carbon were characterized by adjusting carbonization time.As prolonging carbonization time,the adsorption quantity,specific surface area and total pore volume of activated carbon increase first,then decrease.The pore volume of mesopore gradually decrease.When the precarburization temperature and time is 800 ℃ and 6h,the weight ratio of KOH to coal is 2,the activatied tempreture is 800 ℃,the specific surface,total pore volume,mesoporosity of prepared coal-based activated carbon can reach up to 1409 m2/g,0.5284 cm3/g and 6.25 percent respectively.The results show that AC6 exhibit excellent specific capacitance over 127 F/g at 50 mA/g and the capacitance maintenance achieved 66.1 percent at 2500 mA/g in organic electrolyte.The residual specific capacitance is more than 93.6 percent after 1000 cycles.

  • Semi-coking experiment on high rank lignite

    Through semi-coking experiments,analyse the basic properties of two kinds of high rank lignite from Yunnan Province.Determine the particle size of lignite in distillation zone range from 6mm to 25 mm.Investigate the pyrolysis characteristics of lignite by external heating devolatilization.The results show that,for lignite sample Ⅰ,the productive rate of semi-coke,tar,gas and thermal-water reach up to 49.42 percent,13.20 percent,8.56 percent and 24.18 percent.For lignite sample Ⅱ,they are 51.38 percent,15.36 percent,8.10 percent,23.27 percent.The higher the end devolatilization temperature,the greater the productive rate of dry gas and H2,while the yield of CO and CH4 is just the opposite.The calorific value of gas of these two samples generally remain at 14 MJ/m3 to 15 MJ/m3.At 800 ℃ coking temperature,the characteristics of semi-coke are comparatively good.The devolatilization index of sampleⅠis much better than that of sampleⅡ.The results show that,the semi-coke sampleⅠhas a series of advantages such as high calorific value,specific resistance,reactivity,well-developed porosity and low sulphur,ash content and aluminum-bearing,which can be used as carbon reductant for metallurgical electric furnace.The semi-coke sampleⅡhas similar quality index as the sampleⅠexcept higher ash content,and can be substituted for bituminite in the field of cement making,sugar refinery,flue-cured tobacco.

    The ratio of traditional bagasse utilization is low,not only waste resources,also pollute the environment,so the study of bagasse efficient utilization is important for environmental protection and economic growth.Briquette binder was prepared via alkalizing bagasse using NaOH.The influence of NaOH concentration,heating time,heating temperature on compressive strength and drop strength were studied.The optimal preparation condition is,NaOH concentration is 3 percent,heating time are 2 h,heating temperature is 85 ℃,the compressive strength and drop strength of briquette can reach up to 440.5 N and 78.2 percent.Preparation of briquette binder is a new attempt to use bagasse,its stability becomes better by alkalizing with NaOH.

  • Collaborative characteristics of coal and biomass co-pyrolysis

    The thermal gravimetric analysis of corn stalk and Pingdingshan bituminous coal of different particle size at various heating rate,show that the peak temperature corresponding to the maximum weight loss ratio of corn stalk and bituminous coal is around 350 ℃and 500 ℃,which vary considerably.When the weight loss is same,the higher the pyrolysis temperature,the greater the heating temperature.At certain heating temperature,with the change of particle size,the pyrolysis temperature of corn stalk vary less,while that of Pingdingshan bituminous coal is just the opposite.The procedure of NO.1 experiment is heating samples from normal temperature to 850 ℃,then keep warm for 30 minutes,the procedure of NO.2 experiment is keeping the samples warm at 850 ℃ for 30 minutes.Investigate the volatile component of these two experiments.The results show that,the NO.2 test is about 1.75 percent higher than NO.1 test.With the increase of bituminous coal in mixture,the real volatile component is higher than theoretical value,that means the biomass has cooperative effects on bituminous coal pyrolysis.

  • Common problems and countermeasures during coal sampling

    The common problems during coal sampling are non-adherence to standard,non-uniform manual sampling instruments and equipment specification,easy mixture of different samples during mechanical sampling.Provide countermeasures from the aspects of sampling and sample preparation.When sampling from coal pile,the sampling points should be distributed as peak,waist and bottom,the height ratio of these three parts is 1 ∶3 ∶5.The mechanical sampling is more suitable for sampling from the roof of train and truck.When sampling from coal flow,take the coal sample by one time or two to three times from cross-sectional of coal flow.The conveyor belt sampling should install conveyor belt mechanical sampler.For some coal samples,whose total moisture is more than 10 percent,firstly,it need to be dried.It's important for total moisture samples preparation to minimise moisture loss.Prepared samples should be kept in sealed bottles.Strengthen acquisition management and standardize sampling operation is important for coal quality analysis and high-quality coal supply.

  • Preparation of TiO_2-AC composite material and experimental study on its photocatalysis property

    Taking CO2-K2CO3 as activating agent,bamboo as raw material,first prepared bamboo-based activated carbon with orthogonal experimental method.Then the bamboo-based activated carbon was used as carrier for titanium dioxide(TiO2) loading to produce TiO2-AC composite material by sintering.The BET specific surface area,scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffraction analysis were applied to characterize the structure of composite material.The photocatalysis property of composite material was estimated by degradation ratio of organic waste in organic wastewater.The results show that,the BET surface area of bamboo-based activated carbon can reach 1959 m2/g,the mesopore structure is well developed.The BET surface area of TiO2-AC composite material decrease significantly,especially the mesopore content.The TiO2-AC composite material sintered under low temperature presents high photocatalysis property,the DMF degradation ratio can reach up to 99 percent.

  • Comparison of coal water slurry and coal dust feeding methods of entrained flow gasification technology

    To make better use of coal-derived oil and optimize upgrading process,obtained Shenhua coal-derived oil samples from continuous direct coal liquefaction test.Nine narrow fractions are gained by the true boiling point distillation from the samples,of which boiling point is lower than 300 ℃.The saturated vapor pressures(SVP) of the narrow fractions are measured at lower different temperatures.It is emphasized on the regression calculation between the SVP and temperature of the narrow fractions of the samples by the Clapeyron's and Antoine's equation.The results show that,the relationship between the SVP and temperature accords with the two equations,and the former is more accurate.

    Blend two kinds of high-moisture dewatered sludge with Yanzhou coal to prepare coal-sludge slurry by wet milling process.Investigate the influence of sludge addition on wet milling grinding efficiency.By changing additive amount of sludge,analyse the slurryability,combustion enthalpy and ash fusion temperatures of prepared coal water slurry.Analyse the reasons from the aspects of particle size distribution,surface morphology and ash composition etcetera.The results show that,the addition of dewatered sludge can improve the grinding efficiency and stability of coal-sludge slurry in the wet milling process.The coal-sludge slurry present better pseudoplastic characteristic.The combustion enthalpy of sludge coal-water slurry value is slightly lower than that of coal-water slurry,but still meet the requirement of combustion.The suitable sludge blending ratio is 10 percent,when the slurry concentration of coal-sludge slurry can reach up to 60 percent,and all properties can meet industrial requirements.

  • Influence of energy price on coal to olefin industry in China

    Based on the main energy price variation trend such as coal,crude oil and gas in recent years,analyze the impact of new global energy price system on China domestic energy price.The results show that,large-scale development and utilization of share oil in North American has a major impact on the original energy price system,which resulted in weaker reliability of energy demands from North America on global supply,continuous decline of gas price in North America.The price differential between WTI crude oil and Brent crude oil become wider.Oversupply of coal in North America attract more US coal trades into China market,which lower coal price in China recently.The changes in domestic and international energy price also impact coal to olefin industry of China.The best method of forming core competency is industry upgrading.

  • Research of denitration with activated coke

    To develop deNOx adsorbent with excellent properties,investigate the denitration with activated coke.Analyse the influence of activated coke properties,reaction conditions on denitration.The results show that,the ash content and intensity of activated coke can be used to determine denitration effects of activated coke.TX activated coke has better denitration performance,which is in between compared with two kinds of commercial activated coke.With the decrease of space velocity,O2 and NO conversion increase.When O2 content increase to 8 percent,the increase of NO conversion levels off gradually.

  • Influence of waste heat recovery from boiler flue gas on electrostatic precipitator performance and economical efficiency of unit

    Analyse the practical utilization of waste heat recovery equipment in 135 MW CFB boiler.Investigate its effects on electrostatic precipitator performance and economical efficiency of unit.The waste heat is used to warm condensed water of steam turbine.The flue gas temperature decrease by 35 ℃to 40 ℃,however,the condensed water temperature increase by 40 ℃ to 50 ℃.The results show that,with the decrease of flue gas temperature,the dust specific resistance of fly ash decrease,the dust removal efficiency increase significantly.When the temperature of flue gas through electrostatic precipitator is around 106 ℃,the dust removal efficiency can reach 99.89 percent,the dust emission concentration is less than 30 mg/m3.The waste heat recovery remarkably decrease the equivalent enthalpy drop of steam turbine.The standard coal consumption of unit decrease by 2.8 g/kWh.

  • Technical economical comparison of electrostatic fabric filter and pulse bag filter

    The new national standard GB/T 13223—2011 limits the emission concentration of boiler dust in power plant to 30 mg/m3,which was 50 mg/m3 once.The emission of original electrostatic precipitator can not meet the new standard,so the technological transformation was imperative.Electrostatic fabric filter and pulse bag filter are commonly used in technological transformation.Compare the two kinds of filter from the aspects of technological process,structure form,equipment cost and operation cost.The results show that,the transformation quantity of electrostatic fabric filter is small,that means the transformation cost is low,while its operation cost is high,and the system is more complex.For new project,the pulse bag filter is the best choice for its simple structure and low operation cost.

  • Transformation of filter unit in circulating water system

    In coal preparation process of Xinzhi coal preparation plant,tiny sundries used to easily sneak into circulating water system,which influenced the spraying content and pressure of spraying system.To resolve this problem,install Y filter in spraying pipeline.After transformation,the security risk and high labor intensity,caused by frequency nozzle blockage,is eliminated.The transformation stabilize the spraying content and pressure,improve medium draining efficiency and products quality.The handing capacity of Xinzhi coal preparation plant NO.2 workshop are 2.6×106 tons each year,the medium consumption for per ton of raw coal reduce by 0.1 kg,saving 260 tons medium,which is worth 3.38×105 yuan.

  • Velocity distribution and slip velocity of large particle slurry flow in pipe

    Through analysing the forces acted on large particle in pipe,investigate the flow law for large particle slurry in pipe.The results show that,there are additional force acted on particle,which can be described by modified coefficient K.Through data fitting calculation method,provide the expression of modified coefficient K in horizontal pipe.Through equilibrium equation of force on particle,moment equations for water and solid particle,water velocity distribution formula in pipe,design velocity distribution model and slip velocity model for large particle slurry when solid particle is in suspension.Comparison of model calculating result and experiment result show that the maximum deviation between calculated values by model for velocity distribution and experimental values is less than 3 percent.Considering the coefficient K,calculation values of water velocity increase,calculation values of solid velocity reduce.The model calculating result of slipping velocity increase,and maximum deviation between model calculated values and experimental values is less than 10 percent,and the calculation values is much closer to the experimental values.

  • Application of concentrated hydraulic fluid for electro-hydraulic control in inclined full-mechanized mining

    There were series of problems in the application of traditional emulsifying oil in Xintie coal mine full-mechanized working face,which were precipitating oil and soap out,blocking filter element,corroding devices,leaking liquid from valves and so on.Investigate the application of concentrated hydraulic fluid for electro-hydraulic control in inclined full-mechanized mining.Through analysing the testing data of underground water quality,design changing fluid solutions in specific working condition,then determine the test content.The testing results show that,the concentrated liquid has superior performance over the traditional emulsifying oil in stability,rust-preventing,rot-proofing,biodegradable,which meet the requirements of inclined electro-hydraulic control in hydraulic support,assure high productivity and efficiency,provide successful experiences for other full-mechanized coal mining areas.
