• Life Cycle Inventory of Clean Coal-fired Power Generation in China

    Based on the methodology of life cycle inventory, the environmental impacts of seven clean coal-fired power generation technologies are evaluated and material consumption and environmental emissions is provided quantitatively. The results support the decision-making theory of the scheme and policy of the development of clean coal-fired power generation technology.

  • Study on Depth Depression Ash Content in Coking Middlings

    The reserves and utilization situation of coking coal in China were analyzed. Middlings of Fangezhuang Coal Preparation Plant that is 1 40 from to 1 60 density grade is used as experiment test samples for exploration the utilization good quality coal resources of China. Float and sink test are adopted by using the ZnCl 2 as heavy liquid and classification grade was conducted according to the density. And then various density grade coal samples putting into grinding and treatment by using the flocculation-floatation process for recovery the low ash cleaned coal. The conditions of separation the low ash cleaned coal were approached from Fangezhuang middlings. After classification, the total ash is under 8 14% at the same separation density condition.

  • Study on the Preparation of Mesopore Activated Carton by Mixing Coals

    Different ratio of Datong bituminous coal and Taixi anthracite were used as raw material, and the additive are Mg(OH) 2·4MgCO 3·5H 2O and NH 4NO 3. Activated carbons were prepared at different carbonization temperatures and activation temperatures. The result is shown that, Abundant mesoporos activated carbons could be produced at following conditions such as high ratio of Datong bituminous coal, best ratio of Mg(OH) 2·4MgCO 3·5H 2O and NH 4NO 3 at 1 ∶ 2. and optimum carbonization temperature at 600℃.

  • Study on Six Corners Tangentially Boiler with the Air Gradation Combustion Technology

    This paper described the characteristic of air dynamic field distribution situation in a six corners tangentially boiler after the retrofit by using the air gradation combustion technology. The result is shown that, it can be concluded that the air gradation combustion technology is useful to ensure the lignite steady combustion under lower load, control the emission of NO x and reduce the slagging phenomenon in a six corners tangentially boiler.

  • Effect of the Pulverized Coal Size Distribution on the Combustion Efficiency

    The relationship of combustion efficiency and pulverization coal size distribution by using the different kinds coal is studied. Result is shown that, a best value of bituminous size distribution was existed for gained the high coal combustion efficiency. Also the best value of coal size distribution was existed for bituminous and anthracite if the coal grinding consumption was accounted. Recommend value is 60% to 80% pulverized coal size below -0 074 mm based on this study. The relationship of coal combustion efficiency and reflectivity of vitrinite was also studied.

  • Practice of Bituminous and Anthracite Blending Blowing in Blast Furnace at Shijiazhuang Steel Works

    Blowing coal process has been used in the blast furnace in Shijiazhuang Steel Work since Sept. 2001 and the rate of blowing coal reached 78 Kg/t iron in 2003. Suitable coal kinds have been selected on the base of further innovating and perfecting the former blowing system for to increase the blowing coal amount and to decrease the cost of pig iron. The fuel quality was improved. The experiment of blowing bituminous and anthracite blending was conducted successfully on Mar. 4 2004. Blending rate of bituminous keeps above 75% steadily. The aim of saving energy, decreasing consumption and increasing efficiency has been reached.

  • Basic characteristics of red-soft-mudstone layer landslides

    Red-soft-mudstone layer landslides of Jurassic and Cretaceous and Tertiary are distributed in north china widely. It is the basic characteristic of red-soft-mudstone layer with weak anti-weathering capability, feeble rock mass strength, rather bad engineering geological property, and it is very sensitive to water generally, landslide hazards in this area is very serious. Geological environmental conditions of the red-mudstone layer landslides are the key factors for forming landslides, rock mass strength characteristics determined the mechanical and deforming mechanism of landslides. The traits and moving characteristics of red-mudstone layer landslide varied with different conditions of deformation and failure. Based on the study of rock mass strength in different failing conditions and shear strength of rock layer surface, this article analyzed the mechanisms of creeping deformation and slip plane forming systemically, the basic characteristic of the red-soft-mudstone layer landslide was given after the studies and statistic analysis of typical red-soft-mudstone layer landslide examples.
