• Development and Application of Clean Coal in Zhejiang

    The optimum coal blending technology, additive technology for clean coal combustion, construction Hongzhou coal plant for clean coal production and additive products for clean combustion were developed in early 90s' in Zhejiang province. These technologies were spread into whole country such as to burn clean coal at industrial boiler and kiln for decreasing pollutant emission. The industrial application prospect of the coal conversion and upgrading, gasification, liquefaction at 21 century in Zhejiang province was discussed in this paper. Specially the establishment and development of clean coal technologies in industrial chain general plan were also discussed.

  • Techenical and Economic Analysis of Gasification Briquette

    The air pollution sources were come from coal burning in China due to the coal as main energy resource. Best way for decreasing air pollution is that to develop clean coal technology. Briquettee technology is one of the clean coal technologies. A great technical breakthrough had been gained in Beijing Research Institute of Coal Chemistry. A kind of high strength, water proof and without drying beiquette was produced. The industrial gasification test was completed using 100 t briquettes. The champion was gained at contrast test that is presided by the former Ministry of Coal Industry. To decreasing the cost of binder and to strengthen spreading application of briquette are the development tendency in future.

  • Primary Test Results of Dry Flue Gas Desulfurization With Entrained Bed

    A new technical process concept is introduced by using dry flue gas desulfurization and recovery the sulfur. Its feature as follows; the dry desulfurization process can be conducted continuously by using the coal based fine sorbent that it can be regeneration; desulfurization process is completed at the down spurt type entrained bed reactor; indirect heat exchanger was adopted; desulfurization sorbent regeneration and to produce a tail gas which The sulfur dioxide content is higher; the sulfur dioxide can be liquefied and separated with other gases through compressing and cooling down the regeneration tail gas and to produced liquid SO 2 as by product. The unit experiment results as mentioned above are also introduced.

  • N2O Catalytic Decomposition Catalytic Activity of CuY Molecular Sieve

    The CuY molecular sieve series catalyst was prepared by using the ion exchange and equivalent volume soak method. Its activity for N 2O decomposition was investigated. The result shown that the CuY catalytic activity is increasing as the Cu 2+ exchange extent increasing. The effect of calcination temperature on catalytic activity is obvious. Catalytic activity of CuY prepared by ion exchange method is high than the soak method.

  • Study on Preheat Treatment of Thermal Cracking Anthracite

    The thermal cracking property of high rank anthracite was studied. The test results shown that both the coal rank and particle size have some effect on thermal cracking ability of anthracite and the thermal stability values TS 6-13 vary from 10% to 90%. The preheat treatment of raw coals can reduce their thermal cracking and improve the thermal stability. Under the test range, the thermal cracking reducing even disappears by increasing preheat time and preheat temperature, and some coals' thermal stability value is great than 95% after treatment.

  • Effect of Sulfur Content in Coal on the Power Production

    The effect of sulfur content in coal on the power generation is discussed. The air pollution by sulfur combustion product; low temperature heating surface eroded by SO 3; relationship between the sulfur content in coal and slagging in boiler; spontaneous combustion tendency increased as sulfur content rising in coal; and other influence of sulfur content in coal for the power production is also discussed. Decreasing sulfur content of coal through to strengthen clean coal technology research and development that is the basic route for decreasing the influence. At the same time, to strengthen management and adopted measures should also be conducted in power plant for decreasing the harm of sulfur.

  • Effect of Coal Size and Different Size Grade Coal Petrographtic Feature on Coking Coal Property

    The petrographic analysis, coal size and coal quality analysis of different raw coal and coking coal were made. A comprehensive analysis result shown that the coal size distribution is similar the Gates-Gandin-Shuzman and Rossin-Rammer distribution. The change of maceral composition in different size grade coal has a regularity. It will be effect the cohesiveness, sulfur and ash yield of coking coal. This result can be use to improve the coal preparation process and rising coke quality.
