    Advantage and disadvantage comparison of column and conventional flotationprocess were made through different coal slime separation test. It was confirm that, the sep-aratian results of column flotation are better than conventional flotation in fine slime. At thesame time, the optimum size range of slime for column and conventional flotation is also pro-vided through test.

  • CO2-PULSED GASIFICATION AND TEMPERATURE-PROGRAMMEDDESORPTION OF IRON-LOADED COAL CHAR

    Xu Xiufeng Zhu Zhenping Gu Yongda Chen Songying (State Key Laboratory of Coal Conversion,Institute of Coal Chemistry,Chinese Academy of Sciences)

    CO2-pulsed gasification sndd temperature-programmed desorption(TPD) ex- periments of Xianfeng lignite char loaded with iron salts were carried out . The effect of iron loadings , catalyst precursors and binary catalyst on catalytic activity was studied. X-ray pho- toelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was used to measure the surface concentration of iron on chars The results show the catalytic activity of Fe (NO3)3 is highest among three different precur- sors, then that of FeSO4 is higher than FeCl3. The influencing factors lied in surface concen- tration and chemical forms of iron. From TPD studies , surface oxygen complexes (SOC) formed during gasification process were varified.

    The present paper investigates actd probes the catalytic hydrogenation activi- ties and their dominate factors for some natural mineral matters such as concentrate, tailings and wastes residue from metallurgical enterprises. Also the comparisons of catalytic hydro- genation activities between the substance mentioned above and the synthetic FeS2 have been made. The goal is to find out the catalyst resources which suit Chinese direct coal liquefac- tion demonstration plants in near future.

  • THERMOGRAVIMETRIC STUDY ON SULFATION CHARACTERISTICS OF CALCIUM-BASED COMPOUND DESULFRIZER

    This Raper introduces the sulfation characteristisa of calcium-based compound desulfrizer. The experiments are carried out by means of a thermogravimetic analyzer (TGA ) . The effect of several factors on calcium utilization ratio has been studied. The ex- periments results show that , additives can improve the sulfation characteristics of CaO in high temperature and to increase the thermal stability of desulfrization products. The opti- mum desulfrization temperature can be moved 100℃ towards high temperature region. The calcium utilization ratio can reach 65% under TGA condition.

On the basis of test , it gives a feasible routine of utilizing Huaibei natural coke , and its research work will play an important role in efficiently utilizing Chinese natural coke resource.

  • STUDY ON HYDRODYNAMIC STRUCTURE OF FAST BED IN CIRCULATING FLUIDIZED BED BOILER

    The hydrodynamic structure of fast bed is discussed in this paper. Distribu- tion regularity and corresponding calculation formula of suspension density at vertical and horizontal direction in the fast bed region were studied. Themain influence factor of hydrody- namic structure in the fast bed region , such ascirculating rate of solid particles , gases veloci- ty etc. are discussed. The result have a certain guiding significant for design and operation of circulatingfluiized bed boiler.

  • THE FORMATION AND REMOVAL OF HALOGENATED HYDROCARBONIN CHLORINATED MINING DRAINAGE

    The reason of high concentration of halogenated hydrocarbon (carbon tetra- chloride and trihalomethane ) in chlorinated mining dranaige is discussed. The method of boiling-aeration , absorption , chemical oxidation and ultrasonic cavitation to remove the halogenated hydrocarbon in water is described. The effect method to prevent halogenated hy- drocarbon from presenting in chlorinated mining dranaige is to remove halogenated hydrocar- bon precursors from coal mining dranaige by sonolysis and ozone.
