Environment character, energy saving rate, technical maturity and economics were adopted for multipurpose evaluation of various clean coal technologies. At least, the technical evaluation system was established.

  • Study on Desulfurization in Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion by using High Sulfur Coal

    A desulfurization performance test was conducted in the 1 MWth circulating fluidized bed (CFB) furnace by using a certain high sulfur coal. The result is shown that, desulfurization efficiency reached more than 90% when Ca/s mole ratio is 2.2, the effect of limestone on desulfurization efficiency have relevant to limestone amount in the furnace, the limestone concentration in CFB furnace is an important index for evaluation desulfurization efficiency of limestone and the desulfurization condition on the top of furnace have relevant to the SO 2 concentration in the flue gas at a great extent.
