Fe removal from fly ash for raw material preparation of Al-Si-Ti alloy in Huainan power plant

Abstract:
Al-Si-Ti alloy has superior wearability,high-temperature strength and thermal stability.It has been widely used in aerospace,transportation,construction fields.The fly ash in thermal power plant can be used to prepare Si-Al-Ti alloy,while its high Fe content would lower the intensity of alloy.Adopted oxalic acid and sulfuric acid to remove Fe,optimized the removal process by orthogonal test.The results show that,the removal efficiency is well.
