Abstract：

As one kind of clean and renewable biomass energy from biomass straw,straw densification briquettes fuel has significant advantages.The characteristic analysis of resources,physical and chemical properties,combustion and technology economy show that biomass is rich in natural resources for straw densification briquettes fuel(SDBF),the increased density make it easier transport and storage than straw.The combustion characteristic of SDBF still acts in keeping with the original material and coal,it is easier to ignite and burn.The component of CO2,SO2,NOx in smoke is much lower.High alkalis and chlorine in SDBF might corrode the furnace.The environmental benefits of SDBF are remarkable,while its economic and technical benefits are lower.
