Abstract：

China is rich in oil shale resource, which deposit in continental lake, marine facies and marine-terrigenous facies, especially in continental environment. Oil shale resource-rich basin are mainly song-liao basin, ordos basin and zhunggar basin, which account for 76. 8% of the total oil shale resources reserves of China. Oilshale is mainly deposited in the Meso-Cenozoic times and it has diverse Output Status, mainly Thin-layer-like, and it almost has brown-black color, Organic matter type isⅠ-Ⅱ type kerogen. The quality ofoil shale in China are generally good and the oil shale resource, whose oil yield is more than 5% , makes up 67.64% of the whole oil shale resource.
