Summarize the application and mechanism of treatment agents and the main research direction of slime water treatment. The natural organic macromolecule flocculant has properties of wide material source,low price,non-toxic,biodegradable. The microbial flocculant is efficient,safe and can be natural degraded. Developing microbial flocculant and combining it with mining technology is the direction of slime water treatment. The slime water treatment method should be chosen according to coal properties. Slime water treatment methods optimization and efficient,safe,environmentally friendly agents development is also important.

  • Application of banana flip-flow screen on 3 mm dry fines removal in Sihe mine

    To improve the efficiency of dry screening,discuss the application of banana flip-flow screen on 3 mm dry fines removal in Sihe mine on the basis of its working principle and characteristics. Its application effects show that,the screen has high treating capacity,which is over 30 percent than that of circular vibrating flip flow screen. The screen stratifys the material quickly and more material pass through the screen. The treating capacity for single machine ranges from 320 t / h to 350 t / h,the oversize rate of the 3mm undersize is 3. 2 percent, the oversize rate of the upper layer is 23. 1 percent,the undersize rate of the under layer is 21. 3 percent,the screening efficiency is up to 85 percent with better screening effects for viscous conglobated material. The screen has many advantages such as small installing angle and less space occupation,low transformation,water,power and medium cost. The slime,coagulant,flocculant consumption reduce by 1. 125 × 105,22. 5,281. 25 t/a. The mine increases economic benefits by 5. 35501 ×107yuan. It is feasible for using banana flip-flow screen on deep screening.

  • Research progress on briquetting mechanism

    Discuss the processes of non-binder briquetting mechanism and cold-press briquetting mechanism with binder. Bituminous hypothesis,humic acid hypothesis,capillary hypothesis,colloid hypothesis and adhesion molecules hypothesis are the main theories of non-binder briquetting mechanisms,but those hypotheses can not fully explain the briquetting issues about lignite. Discuss the main forms and common used binders of solid bridge connecting,electrostatic attraction and liquid bridge connecting from the view of interaction of binders and the pulverized coal. Those theories are explanations of briquetting performance and there is not a uniform instructive theory for briquette production yet. Finally propose a new approach for research of briquetting mechanism. Starting from the understanding of microstructure of briquette,investigate the hardness,elasticity,plasticity and physical and chemical properties of raw coal,analyze the structure and change law of briquette when particle,moisture,drying temperature and briquetting pressure change. The relationships of briquetting process-microstructures-macroproperties would be figured out to explore the briquetting mechanism from the micro-structural viewpoint.

  • Fluidizing characteristics and density gradient distribution of air dense medium fluidized bed

    To separate material effectively,investigate the fluidization characteristics of mixed mediums and density gradient distribution of air dense medium fluidized bed using mixed medium of magnetite powder and glass spheric particles. The experimental results show that air dense medium fluidized bed can form a uniform and stable fluidization state. When the fluidizing air velocity is above 7. 10 cm / s,the pressure drop of bed can hold around 510 Pa,the bed density stabilize between 1. 71 g / cm3and 1. 74 g / cm3. When the fluidizing air velocity is 7. 95 cm / s,the bubble distributed evenly in the bed with the diameter of 15 mm to 25 mm. The average density of each floor of fluidized bed is 1. 72,1. 74,1. 74,1. 74,1. 73 g / cm3from top to bottom. On the top area of fluidized bed,the micro-fine glass spheric particles can be carried up to the surface of bed by flowing vapor and decrease the density of top area. The gas is evenly distributed on the bottom of bed and decrease the density of the bottom area. The average density of most area is 1. 74 g / cm3. So when the fluidizing air velocity is 7. 95 cm / s,there is no obvious stratification and classification phenomenon. The results show that the mixed medium with evenly density create good conditions for material separation of air dense medium fluidized bed.

  • Application of electrocoagulation in slime water settlement

    Based on the working principle of electrocoagulation,expound the application of electrocoagulation in slime water settlement. Point out that the lack of in-depth study of the electrochemical reaction mechanism and poor practicability of the reactor site are the main cause for restricting the application of electrocoagulation. The application of electrocoagulation in water treatment can guide its application in slime water treatment. Finally put forward that the use of electrocoagulation in slime water need more basic research in order to form a complete theoretical system. The electrocoagulation equipment should be chosen according to the actual situation of coal preparation plant and economic feasibility.

  • Influence of medium size on desulfurization and ash reduction effects of Falcon centrifugal separation

    To improve the desulfurization and ash reduction effects of Falcon dense medium centrifugal separation,investigate the influence of medium size on products size composition,ash,sulfur,combustible materials recovery,desulfurization effects. Analyze the relationship between combustible materials and desulfurization effects. The results show that,the Falcon has bad effects on + 0. 500 mm and-0. 045 mm size,this is due to the mismatch between high-density small particle and low-density big particle. The Falcon has good effects on the particle ranging from 0. 125 mm to 0. 074 mm. This is the result of high dissociation of pyritic sulfur. The size distribution of NO. 1 medium is average,the size of NO. 2 medium is small,its suspension is stable. When the combustible material recovery is the same,the NO. 2 medium has better desulfurization effects.

The partition size of raw coal is increased from 13 mm to 18 mm,the separation system for lump coal isn't revapmed,install a slack coal separation system and flotation system. Calculate the product composition. The yield and ash of lump clean coal is 21. 12 percent and 12. 90 percent,the yield and ash of slack clean coal is 51. 02 percent and 10. 48 percent,the yield and ash of middlings is 7. 79 percent and 35. 85 percent. Choose the equipments in compliance with advanced technologies,reliable performance,high efficiency and low consumption principle. Add a dense-medium cyclone for slack coal,a classifying cyclone,two spiral separators and three flotation columns. The capacity of the separation plant increase from 3. 0 Mt / a to 5. 0 Mt / a.

  • Application of TBS in Wangjialing coal preparation plant

    Expound the working principle and technical parameters of TBS( teetered bed separator). Analyze the size and density composition of feed and product of two kinds TBS,compare their separation precision. The results indicate that the size composition of the feed of two TBS is similar,the mass fraction of particles,whose size range from 0. 2 mm to 1. 0 mm,is greater than 60 percent,which is the dominant grain size,and is suitable for TBS. The clean coal ash is less than 10 percent,tailing ash is greater than 57 percent,which means better separation efficiency. When the clean coal ash is 9. 5 percent,the feeds of two kinds TBS are easy-to-wash. The Epvalue( possible deviation) of two TBS are 0. 178 and 0. 183,the I value( imperfection) are 0. 239 and 0. 246,separation efficiency is basically equal,which reaches a high level,and the lower limit of separation is 0. 2 mm.

  • Technical transformation of Pavilion South coal preparation plant

  • Experimental study on ash reduction by inhibitor during flotation

    To reduce the ash of clean coal during flotation,investigate the influence of inhibitor types and dosage on ash reduction effects. Meanwhile,determine the appropriate type and dosage. The results show that,the inhibitor can reduce the ash of clean coal obviously,but it affects the clean coal yield and flotation perfect index. The corn starch is a typical case,so it's unsuited to the flotation. Treated by sodium sulfite,the ash of clean coal decrease slightly,while the flotation perfect index decrease at a faster pace. CMC and tannic acid can decrease the ash of clean coal significantly. Taking CMC as inhibitor,the clean coal yield and flotation perfect index are lower,while the tannic acid can increase these two index. For experimental slime,when the tannic acid is 300 g / t,the ash reduction effects is best,the ash of clean coal is 10. 09 percent which meets the requirements,clean coal yield and flotation perfect index appear least affected.

  • Hydro-conversion technologies of coal tar

The process flow and actuality of each species are described separately,and their advantages,limitations,key technology of each species are studied.   • Bi-briquette hot air drying characteristics and model

    To reduce the cost of bi-briquette drying and improve the drying efficiency,by investigating the influence of hot air velocity and temperature on drying characteristics,fit the simulation curve which represents the water change law with drying time. The results show that: the bi-briquette is similar with most of porous mediums. The drying process can be divided into raising speed drying phase,constant speed drying phase and reducing speed drying phase. The drying time of constant speed stage is only 25 minutes. The drying rate of biomass briquette increases with the rise of drying temperature and air flow velocity. Meanwhile,the creak rate is higher. When the drying temperature is 180 ℃,wind speed is 1. 2 m / s,the drying effects is better,the thermal efficiency of drying is 48. 34 percent. Conduct fitting analysis of drying experimental data of biomass briquette with four common models under different temperatures and velocities. When the drying temperature is 180 ℃,air flow speed is 1. 2 m / s,the correlation coefficient is 0. 997,the simulated curve and the experimental curve coincide,Sabbet model fits and reflects the drying characteristics of biomass briquette under different temperatures and air velocities better.

  • Technological conditions of lignite mechanical vibration and thermal dehydration

    Taking lignite from Zhaotong,Yunnan Province as raw material,adopt the dehydration technology which combines vibration and heat pressing technologies to carry out experiment. Investigate the influence of temperature,pressure,vibration time and exciting time on dehydration rate of lignite. Based on the dehydration rate,evaluate the technological performance and determine the best process. The study also can provide theoretical basis for the promotion and application of the technology at industrial level. The results show that,temperature and pressure are important influencing factors on lignite dehydration. With the synergistic action of vibration,static pressure and heat,the lignite can be dewatered quickly under mild reaction condition. Vibration can accelerate the dehydration speed,the dehydration rate is more than 60 percent.

  • Sedimentary characteristics and coal accumulation law of Yan'an Formation coal seam in Yuanyanghu coal mine

    Analyze the Middle Jurassic Yan'an Formation sedimentary characteristics of Ningxia Yuanyanghu coal mine. The results show a clear three layers filling features. The Yanan coal-bearing strata can be divided into five lithology members and nine infilling sequences, and boarders with sedimentary hiatus or roof of stable coal seams. Coal deposition is mainly affected by the environmental impact of ancient geography,some are obviously controlled by local tectonic. The depositional environment is fluvial-dominated delta lakes,coal accumulation occurs mainly on the abandoned delta plain,industrial seams mainly distribute in the first and third lithology members. Sedimentary characteristics of Yan'an formation shows that shallow lake delta system distributes in the middle of coal-bearing strata vertically,with river system in the lower and the top. Coal accumulation extent cyclical changes with filling evolution.

  • Determination of coal-oil slurry apparent viscosity

    To determine coal-oil slurry apparent viscosity accurately,establish unified determination method of coal-oil slurry apparent viscosity,investigate the rheological behavior of various coal liquefaction coal-oil slurry in different situations. Study the influence of shearing speed,measuring temperature,standing time of samples,start time of evaluation on apparent viscosity of coal-oil slurry. Confirm the method precision. The best condition is that,the shearing speed is 100 s-1,the measuring temperature is 60 ℃. Under this condition, the apparent viscosity should be measured immediately. First,start the rotational viscometer,eleven minutes later,begin to record the value,the frequency of recording is 10 seconds,totaling thirty measurements. The results should be given in round figures. The repeatability limit r = 0. 13η100 s-1-4. 30. Limited by instruments and time,the measuring method doesn't instruct the reproducibility.

  • Experiment study on high intensity active coke preparation using Taixi anthracite

    To prepare high intensity and desulfurized active coke,using Taixi anthracite as the main raw material,investigate the influence of formulation of raw material coal,activation time and steam velocity on the preparation. The results show that,using pure clean anthracite as raw material,when the activation temperature is 850 ℃,the activation time is 15 minutes,steam flow rate is 6. 2 mL / min,the maximum iodine value of activated coke sample is 356 mg / g,the minimum intensity is 99. 18 percent. The desired iodine value ranges from 300 mg / g to 400 mg / g,the intensity should be greater than 99 percent. So it is good preparation technology parameters of activated coke. When the mass ratio of Taixi anthracite and other type of coal is 75∶ 25,activation temperature is 850 ℃,the activation time is 15 minutes,steam flow rate is 4 mL / min,the iodine value of activated coke sample is 320 mg / g,the intensity is 99. 2 percent,the adsorption properties of activated coke and wear-resisting performance are the best.

  • Chemistry and technology progress of coal gasification

    Chemistry and behavior of coal gasification are elucidated in this paper,including coal pyrolysis,partial oxidative combustion, coke gasification,generation and discharging of slag. The process,equipments,advantages and disadvantages of moving-bed gasification, fluidized-bed gasification and entrained-flow gasification are also summarized. The characteristics of ash / slag are discussed in detail based on the mechanism of refractory lining degradation from slag-refractory interactions,ash chemical composition,ash fusibility and ash fusion temperature,molten slag viscosity. The advances and development trends of coal gasification technology in USA are also analyzed. It is suggested that studies on coal gasification for IGCC and low-rank coal such as lignite and subbituminous coal,gasifier optimization to improve reliability,efficiency and coal feedstock flexibility,syngas cleanup technologies to control multi-contaminants to extremely low levels,O2 separation with low cost and high efficiency,and H2 and CO2 separation with low cost should be focused for clean and high-efficiency coal utilization.

  • Application of HAZOP analysis method in lignite bunker

    To find the dangerous factors in lignite bunker and prevent these factors harming the bunker,analyze the deviation of common technique parameters of HAZOP analysis method and the causes. Based on the basic process of lignite gasification and bunker,combining with HAZOP analysis method,investigate the choice of temperature,material level,pressure,oxygen composition and outlet flow for lignite bunker. Point the consequences led by deviation and the corresponding protective measures. The results show that,installing temperature monitoring and protection alarm at the outlet of exhaust-flow filter and keeping the bunker away from the high temperature environment can better control the temperature of bunker. Feeding N2 to bunker and exhausting the volatile matter can reduce the risks of explosion effectively. Installing the vibrator at the outlet of bunker,feed N2 and install low temperature alarm device in heat tracing system can deduce pressure and material level caused by the outlet jams.

  • Status analysis and improvement measures of volatile dust removal technology in coal pyrolysis process

  • Flow characteristics of coal tar in coke oven ascension pipe

    To remove coal tar congealed and coked on the surface of the heat pipe wall in the process of sensible heat recovery of coke oven gas,based on the viscosity-temperature characteristic curve of coal tar,research the flow characteristics of coal tar on the plain carbon steel and Nickel-plated pipes surface between 200 ℃ and 800 ℃,and obtain the fitting relation equation of flow characteristic and temperature of coal tar. The results show that there is a good index relationship between temperature and flow characteristics of coal tar on the surface of heat piper wall. Most coal tar can be removed on the surface of plain carbon steel for the changing of flow characteristics when the temperature of tube wall reaches around 400 ℃. The effect is the same when the temperature of Nickel-plated pipes is about 350 ℃. Nickel-plated pipe line,whose inhibiting coking rate is about 20 percemt,is inherently better than plain carbon steel.

  • Technical analysis of coke oven flue gas recycle for power generation

    Coking is a high pollution and emission industry. The temperature of flue gas is over 300 ℃. It pollutes the environment and wastes energy. The emission of coking flue gas is in a disordered state. To resolve this problem,adopt advanced heat pipe technology recycle the coking flue gas heat energy,replace the traditional steam turbine generator with a screw power machine. Analyze the energy consumption and economic benefits before and after renovation. The results show that,the recovery energy amounts to 7598 tons of coal equivalent per year in a 9 × 105 tons per year coking plant when the coking flue gas temperature decreases from 300 ℃ to 150 ℃. The economic benefits of power generation is about 1. 276 × 106 yuan per year. So advanced and reliable technology can reduce emission and realize sustainable development.

The results indicate that the equilibrium pyrolysis temperature of coal was raised and the time required to attain equilibrium pyrolysis temperature is shorten with the increase of the mass ratio of solid ball heat carrier to coal and initial temperature of heat carrier. The time required to attain equilibrium pyrolysis temperature could be shorten by reducing the diameter of coal particles. The equilibrium pyrolysis temperature can be higher than 732 K when the mass ratio of heat carrier to coal is more than 4,and the initial temperature of heat carrier and coal particles is 973. 15 K and 373. 15 K respectively.

  • Stonecoal combustion in 210 MW CFB boiler

    To utilize vanadium-containing stone coal effectively,conduct the experiment of stone coal combustion in 210MW CFB boiler. The combustion fuel is 78 percent stone coal mixed with 22 percent bituminous. The calorific value of the fuel burning in the boiler ranges from 7. 96 MJ / kg to 9. 63 MJ / kg. The continuous and stable running of boiler show that the burning of stone coal in boiler for power generation is feasible. The experiment analyse the combustion features of stone coal and provide reference for project design.

  • Development review of bio-briquette

    As one of clean utilization technologies of coal resources,the bio-briquette is a solid molding fuel compacted with raw coal, waste agriculture or forestry biomass and binder according to a certain proportion. Bio-briquette technology combines depletable coal resources with waste renewable agricultural straws and forestry biomass resources. The technology can realize the clean and efficient utilization of coal,especially for the low rank coal,also can turn the waste biomass into useful resource and energy. The significance of the development of bio-briquette,biomass briquette molding process,binders,combustion mechanism and characteristics are summarized. Meanwhile,preview the prospect of biomass briquette is previewed. The development of biomass briquette has great significance for air pollution reduce,living environment improvement,energy security maintenance,reasonable utilization of fossil and renewable energy sources.

  • Optimization of U-shaped CBM horizontal wells in Qinnan Basin

    To improve the coalbed gas single well productivity,present idea of using U-shaped CBM well technology in CBM reservoir, and optimize the target area based on simple structure,large coal thickness and gas content,complete coal structure,and simple hydro-geological conditions. Meanwhile optimization includes horizontal well space,length,and location in coalbed. The results show that small well space effects on stable production stage and late-stage production potential because of small reserves. While large well space causes the interference between wells is so difficult that large scale of pressure drop does not happen and high production is not available. The optimal well space is 300 m based on 15 years cumulative production. The optimal value becomes larger as cleat permeability gets larger. The productive rate and cumulative production are the highest when the horizontal well locates in the middle of coalbed reservoir.

  • Design of domestic sewage treatment process in a coal preparation plant in Shanxi Province

    Taking the domestic sewage in a coal preparation plant in Shanxi Province as research object,after treated by grille and regulating tank,the sewage go into biochemical treatment system. The coal preparation plant adopts buried integrated wastewater treatment equipment for its low running cost,easy maintenance,mature and reliable process,high treatment efficiency,long service life. After treated by the system,the sewage is disinfected by chlorine dioxide. The water quality meet the Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard GB 8978-1996. The water can be used for coal separation and dust elimination. The method reduces the sewage emission and saves the water resouces.

  • Mercury migration law in pyrolysis process of lignite

    Mercury is one kind of trace elements in coal. The emission of trace elements during coal combustion process is connected with the characteristics,content and occurrence of elements. Based on the fixed-bed pyrolysis reactor system,investigate the mercury migration law in the pyrolysis process of China Shenhua lignite. The results show that,the mobility of mercury rises sharply with the rise of pyrolysis terminal temperature. When the pyrolysis temperature is above 350 ℃,the mercury migration rate increases slowly with the rise of temperature. Mercury migration rate reaches to about 95 percent when the pyrolysis temperature is 500 ℃. The sequential chemical extraction experiment on coal and semicoke indicate that,the amount of exchangeable mercury,bound-organic mercury and bound-sulfide mercury in coal reduce greatly after pyrolysis,and the content of mercury in coal is almost zero before the pyrolysis temperature reaches to 400 ℃.

  • Environmental pollution and prevention during coal railway transportation

The traditional dust control methods,such as putting covering over carriage,covering coal with tarpaulin, sprinkling water on coal,can't meet the demands. Coal grain surface solidify technology and comprehensive dustproof technology is the most effect dustproof methods.

  • Domestic sewage treatment with activated fly ash floating beads

    Compared with water,fly ash floating beads have low density. So water is used to extract floating beads from fly ash. The floating beads is calcined and picklinged to deprive charcoal and impurity. Then dispose the sewage with activated fly ash floating beads. Investigate the influence of calcination temperature,HCl concentration,activator species and sanitary waste concentration on the adsorption performance. The results show that the optimal condition is that,the calcination temperature is 700 ℃,the ratio of liquid( 5 percent HCI) to solid is 5∶ 1,and the active agent is 6 mol / L H2SO4. The removal rate of CODcrincrease with the rise of COD content in domestic sewage.

  • Bulid green mine and remove gangue in underground mine

    In order to speed up the transformation of economic development and carry out the social responsibility,construct green mine with green mining technique,and solve the problem of coal gangue accumulation and pollution of the surrounding environment of mine,put forward some basic idea of removing gangue in underground mine. Discuss its significance,specific methods,applicable conditions and obstacles. The results shows that,pre-discharging the gross coal in underground mine with suitable washing equipments and process technology can reduce the energy consumption of coal transportation,ease the burden of coal processing and increase the utilization rate of coal. Moreover,the pre-discharging improves the surrounding environment of mining area and increases the corporate profitability. While the method also faces the problem of security certification and production.
