  • Study on flocculation of high mudding slime water

    The properties of extremely sliming coal slime water from one coal preparation plant were analyzed through X-ray diffraction and screening experiment,while the effect of the concentration of slime water,the dosage of agent,and the water quality on the settlement were also studied.The results show that a large number of clay minerals are in the sample which make slurry water into extremely sliming coal slime water;the concentration of slime water and the dosage of agent are the main factors in settlement;the optimum dosage of agent should be found by experiments as the concentrations of coal slurry is different;compared with running water,the water in the plant is advantageous to the settlement.

  • Effect of calcium and sodium additives on the pyrolysis characteristics of Pingshuo demineralized coal

    The minerals in Pingshuo raw coal were removed by hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acid washing method. Coals loaded calcium and sodium were obtained by impregnating the demineralized coal in the Ca(Ac)_2 or NaAc solution.The pyrolysis experiments of coal samples were carried out in a fixed-bed reactor.The gaseous products form coal pyrolysis were analyzed by gas chromatography.The heat changes during pyrolysis was measured by thermal analytical balance.The experimental results show that calcium and sodium in coal sample decrease the initial temperature and increase the total gaseous products yield during pyrolysis.The gas component from coal pyrolysis is changed and the H_2 accumulated yield in pyrolysis gas of coals loaded calcium and sodium are 10% more than that from demineralized coal.DTA analysis show that the types and amounts of additive loaded are the main factors influencing thermal effects during coal pyrolysis,the changes of the thermal effect and the release of pyrolysis gases are closely related.

  • Effect on slurryability of coal water slurry about thermal conversion Shenhua coal

  • Entrained-flow pulverized coal gasification performance simulation analysis

    Based on the process simulator-Aspen Plus software,the entrained-flow pulverized coal gasification process was simulated by Gibbs free energy minimization method,the flow arithmetic was improved also.The effects of oxygen-coal ratio,steam-coal ratio,pressure and pulverized coal particle size on the crude syngas composition, gasification temperature,cold gas efficiency,carbon conversion efficiency and productivity of CO+H_2 were studied.The results show that the simulation and the experiment results fit well.Oxygen-coal ratio is one of the most important conditions for gasification process,which is more significant than the other conditions,and the best oxygen-coal ratio is 0.70~0.80 kg/kg for simulated coal.The best parameters corresponding gasification process are CO+H_2 volume fraction of 96.48%(dry base),cold gas efficiency of 83.56% and CO+H_2 yield of 1.74 m~3/kg coal.The gasification temperature is elevated about 40℃ when the oxygen-coal ratio is increased by 0.1kg/ kg and reduced about 8℃ when the stream-coal ratio is increased by 0.1 kg/kg.

The pretreatment technology and how to achieve the integration of the pretreatment and carbonization in industry is an issue worth of research.Using phenolic resin as the binder can get much carbon resdue after curing and has high strength,only curing at low-temperature will be sufficient for the briquettes to be used as substitute for metallurgical coke in the blast furnace.The further research is how to reduce the production cost of the phenolic resin.

  • Exergy thermodynamic analysis of Shell coal dust gasification system

The results show that gasifier is the largest exergy loss equipment,amounting to 81.1% of the total loss; the water cooled wall has the lowest exergy efficiency which is 48.1%;the exergy efficiency of Shell coal dust gasification system is 77.7% which is higher than coal-water slurry entrained flow bed gasification.High load and longterm stable operation determine the Shell coal dust gasification system whether can be successfully used.

    Adsorption of SO_2 from different containing gas by activated coke and activated coke impregnated with NH_3 was studied.Experimental results show that when the flue gas without O_2-containing and moisture,SO_2 removal in the activated coke is physical adsorption.The activated coke is impregnated with NH_3,the NH_3 on the surface of coke react with SO_2,and improve the removal of SO_2.When the flue gas with O_2-containing and moisture,the activated coke removal of SO_2 is the physical and reaction.The activated coke is impregnated with NH_3 can promote the removal of SO_2 significantly.Through X-ray photoelectron spectrometer find that the nitrogen-containing functional groups increase on the surface of activated coke impregnated with NH_3.These functional groups advance the adsorption and oxidation of SO_2.

  • Study of biomass coal water slurry rheological behavior

The viscosity of biomass coal water slurry increase while biomass content increasing.When 1 % dispersant is added ,the rheological behavior of biomass coal water slurry turn better;The viscosity of biomass coal water slurry become lower as the mixing time extended.As the temperature is under 60℃,the viscosity of biomass coal water slurry decline. Above 60℃ the viscosity increase.

    Study the advanced method of biological activated carbon ( BAC) treated bio-treatment outflow of coking wastewater.Results show that the bio-treatment outflow of coking wastewater ( COD 200 mg/L,chroma 900) is treated by biological activated carbon,the COD and chroma respectively reduce to 46.9 mg/L and 25.8,up to the national industrial regeneration of water quality standards (COD < 60 mg/L,chroma < 30).Compared with granular activated carbon (GAC),the treantmentof BAC rise the removal of the COD and chroma separately up to 13.4% and 5.2%.And the service life of BAC is 3.3 times of granular activated carbon,the material fee per ton water of BAC is 1.4 yuan which is 3.26 yuan less that of granular activated carbon.Biological activated carbon is an effective and costless advanced method of coking wastewater.
