    China has rich coal bed gas resource and its development and utilization is at the starting stage.Although the quantity of coal mine methane extraction is increasing each year,the extraction rate is still relatively low.The utilization of coal bed gas is focus on the traditional area,such as civil gas,industry fuel,chemical application and power generation,and some new area as clean development mechanism projects.The paper concluded the current situation of coal bed gas development and utilization in China,analyzed the existing problems in the development of coal bed gas industry,and then put forward some suggestions based on the above analysis.

  • Study on the flotation reagent

    The coal sample from Taoshan was studied as the mian object,order to investigate the effection of different flotation systems on coal flotation effect.The experiments were conducted under different conditions,such as different proportions,quantities and ways of adding collector and foaming agent.The results showed that the flotation performance was optimum,when the collector and frother of roportion mass was 4∶1,total mass was 1.70kg/t and adding them into floation system ofter being mixed,the best system flotation reagent was determined.

  • Study on coal structure after removal of the mineral matter

    Shenhua and Yanzhou coals were treated with solutions of HCl and HF in order to detach the mineral.The raw and treated coals were burmed into ashes at 815℃ in oxidizing atmosphere.The mineral composition and coal structure were studied by FT-IR.The results show that the acid cure can remove most mineral of coal.The mineral composition of two kinds of coal are mainly quartz、anhydrite、calcite、kaolinite and mineral of iron,but the quantities are differdent.After treatments,the oxygen functional groups of coal chemical structure were changed.

  • Component analysis of products from brown coal oxidation

    Brown coal was extracted by petroleum ether and chloroform by stages,the residues after extraction were oxidized with NaOH and H2O2,the extraction of products of oxidation were same to coal,GC/MS was used to analyze the components.The results show that 46 compounds are identified from petroleum ether extraction of coal.The main constituents are hydrocarbon(80.2%) and esters(14.3%).Comparing to coal,44 compounds were identified from petroleum ether extraction of oxidation coal.The relatively content of alkyls(43.3%) decreased,but esters(18.9%),alcohols(15%),aroma hydrocarbons(6.5%),hydroxybenzene(6.1%),alkene(4.6%),acids(2.2%) increased.It indicted that other available chemicals can be obtained from coal oxidation.

  • CF4 decomposition over P/Al2O3 without water and the determination of active species

    The temperature-programmed reaction and isothermal reaction of CF4 decomposition over P/Al2O3 without water was carried out.P/Al2O3 before and after reaction were characterized by using XRD and BET.surface area measurement.CF4 conversion decreased quickly because the un-reacted γ-Al2O3 was transformed into α-Al2O3.After Al2O3 was modified with P,the formation of α-Al2O3 was inhibited by the protective layer of AlPO4 and consequently the structural stability of γ-Al2O3 were improved,but the de-fluorinated activity of P/Al2O3 did not increase evidently due to the decrease in Al2O3 content in P/Al2O3,it is demonstrated that Al2O3 is the active species in P/Al2O3.

  • Dynamics research on preparation of activated carbon from blended coal

    This paper studies on dynamics of carbonization and activation of preparation from activated carbon by blended coal from Qitaihe and Yilan,under the two type of coals as 1/1 ratio mixture,ratio of alkali/carbon of 6/1,activated temperature of 850℃,activated time of 120min.The results show the reaction rate of burn-off B is first-order reaction used KOH in 800~950℃.According to Arrhenius equation,it is calculated that the apparent activation energy of carbonization-activation reaction is 101.4032 kJ·mol-1,and the pre-exponential factor is 3.1382×104.

  • Study on the influence of coal's granularity and metamorphic grade on emission of particulate during layer combustion process

    Fine particles matter was tested during coal combustion in the layer combustion boiler by the laser analyzer,its emissions rules of different metamorphic grade and granularity coals were studied during combustion.The experimental results show that the quantity of fine particles matter increased with granularity of coal decreasing,and the quantity of fine particles matter released gradually reduced with volatile content of coal decreasing,the same as cohesiveness increasing.

  • Study on the promoting action of salt slurry to calcium-based desulfurization agent

    Using industrial waste-salt slurry as additives to adjust calcium-based desulfurization agent,carry out the desulphurization experiment by ZCS-1 intelligent sulfur instrument.The results show that salt slurry additives can improve the desulphurization ratio of calcium-based desulfurization agent,the reasonable quality ratio is 8∶1.The analysis by SEM shows that the adjustment can improve pore distribution of desulphurization agent particle,The superficial microscopic appearance of desulphurization agent particles have been changed,so that can improve the desulphuriztion performance.The study discoveries that the main compositions in salt slurry not only change the microscopic structure,but also have the function of desulphurization.

  • Relationship between fractal structure of grain-size distribution of backfill gangue and property of gangue spontaneous combustion

    In order to research the effect of the grain-size distribution of coal gangue on its spontaneous combustion,the grain-size characteristic of coal gangue is analyzed by using the fractal theory,and the spontaneous combustion property of coal gangue of the different grain-size distribution is investigated based on the experiment in which the temperature rise rate of the coal gangue in oxidation process is determined.The results show that the coal gangue discrete material possesses fractal structure feature,and its temperature rise rate in oxidation process(R) increases gradually with the increase of fractal dimension of the grain-size distribution(D).Meanwhile,the quantitative equation between R and D is put forward.

  • Study on the IR spectra of inhibitor effect of insulation material for preventing spontaneous combustion of coal

    An effective method for preventing spontaneous combustion of coal is to cover oxygen insulation material on coal stockpiles.an organic oxygen insulation material which had been prepared was covered over the surface of coal stockpiles.Putting in atmosphere over some days,the coal covered under the material was analyzed by IR spectra and was compared with the uncovered coal and fresh coal.The results have shown the amount of oxidized functional groups of coal increased with the oxidation reaction.Also,the peak area of oxidized functional groups of coal covered with oxygen insulation material was further less than the one of uncovered coal,but was almost same as the one of fresh coal.So it was concluded that the obvious oxidation reaction happened during the uncovered coal and the coal covered with the material hardly have any oxidation reaction.Therefore,the oxygen insulation material can insulate oxygen and prevent spontaneous combustion of coal.

  • Application of support vector machine in classification of fly ash

  • Effect of Pb、Zn on soil urease activity during wheat growth

    The effect of Pb、Zn and their conpound on urease activity in both root-zone and non root-zone soil during wheat growth were studied.The results showed that the response of soil urease activities to Pb、Zn during wheat growth were different.The urease activity changed obviously at the early growth period as stressed by Pb or Zn alone and increased at the late growth periods(heading stage,maturity stage).The effect of Pb and Zn interactions on urease activity transformed from activation into inhibition as the wheat growing up.Urease activity of wheat root zone was higher than that of wheat non-root zone.
