• Current situation and practical application of CO2 geological sequestration in China

    Geological sequestration is one of the effective means of reducing atmospheric emission of CO2 and alleviating the worsening global climate change.It includes:the oil and gas reservoirs sequestration,the saline aquifers sequestration of the sedimentary basins,the deep unminable coal seams sequestration.Based on the international progress and engineering experience of this studies,analyzing the proper potential regions of CO2 sequestration in China and the existent risk of geological sequestration,giving some advice of CO2 geological sequestration.

  • Study on the interaction between the collectors and the frothers in flotation

  • Experimental study on ultrasonic enhancing the flotation of the scarce difficult-to-float fine coals

    The effects of ultrasonic frequency,power and treatment time on the scarce difficult-to-float fine coals were studied.The experimental results of ultrasonic and ordinary flotation were compared.When the ash content of the clean coal of ultrasonic flotation was lower than that of ordinary flotation by 1.26%,the clean coal yield and the perfect index flotation were increased by 17.34% and 13.15% respectively.The study shows that ultrasonic treatment could enhance the performance of flotation for the scarce difficult-to-float fine coals.

  • Average structure of direct coal liquefaction solvent oil

    The samples of a brown coal direct liquefaction prehydrotreated and hydrotreated solvent were examined by 1H-NMR,element analysis and molecular weights etc.,and their properties and the average structures were studied,and from which the average molecular formulas and relative structural parameters were obtained.The results show that the average molecular formulas of prehydrotreated and hydrotreated solvent are C17H23S0.004N0.09O0.12 and C16H24S0.003N0.03O0.03,and their aromatic-carbon ratio are 0.46 and 0.37,respectively.The average structure of the prehydrotreated solvent includes 2~3 rings,1~2 for aromatic rings and 1 for naphthenic ring.The average structure of the hydrotreated solvent was changed,it consists 2 rings,1 for aromatic and 1 for naphthenic ring.It was concluded that the hydrotreated solvent has well hydrogen-donating ability.

  • Study on desulfurization characteristic of desulfurization type coal-water slurry

    Selected calcium carbonate,barium carbonate as desulfurizer,having performed the experiment to take off the S which were included in coal-water slurry and coal powder under burning conditions in the ZCL desulfurization apparatus.The results show that desulfurization rate of coal-water slurry is superior to the same kind of coal.The reason is that there is a reduction in the carbon dioxide content of the camp stove along with the reduction of water included in coal-water slurry.This can reduce the rate of desulfurization products.Porous structure can formate after evaporation that will help improve the desulfurization rate of the reaction.

  • Application way of process systems engineering in coke-making plant

    Especially focused on coke-making design integration、prediction model of coke quality and energy-saving technology,we demonstrated some effective application ways and means of process systems engineering in traditional coke-making plants.The results show that we can make systems structure optimized by holding the direction of coke-making plant design on the viewpoint of process systems.And prediction models of coke quality using in coal & coke production are built up based on some advanced measures in process systems engineering,for example nerve net,genetics algorithm,which can upgrade the practicability of prediction models.From the intention of process systems engineering,energy conservation work in coke-making plants can enter into a new period by using some optimization and energy-saving technology.

  • Advancesing of solvent thermal extraction of coal study

    This paper summarizes the advanceing of solvent thermal extraction(above 300℃)of coal study of recent years.The primary influence factors on thermal extraction contains polar solvent,acid treatment,extraction time et al are discussed.The result shows that acid treatment and using polar solvent are propitious to increasing the thermal extraction yield.Time and temperature are important parameters of thermal extraction and they effect the extraction yield to a different extent.Because the extract has high reaction activity and ashless,it is good raw material of coal direct liquefaction and can be used in gas turbines.

  • Discussion on application of oxy-fuel combustion technology on energy saving of boiler

    The technological characteristic of the oxy-fuel combustion technology is introduced.The energy-saving mechanism of this technology is discussed in detail.A 300MW utility boiler is taken as an example.Boiler thermal efficiency at air and oxy-fuel(30%O2/70%CO2)two atmospheres are calculated adopting ASME PTC 4-1998.Heat transfer characteristics of pulverized coal at two atmospheres are analyzed.The results show that the boiler thermal efficiency can be improved greatly by using oxy-fuel combustion technology,meanwhile,radiation heat transfer increases with convection heat transfer decreasing.As boiler radiant heating surface keeps steady,convection surface decrease greatly.At the same time,high CO2 concentration in the flue gas can reduce the cost on separation.

  • Study on methane catalytic combustion over MnOx/Mg-Al2O3 catalysts

    Mg-modified alumina(Mg-Al2O3)was prepared by using the impregnation of Ma(NO3)2 solution onto Al2O3.Mg-Al2O3 was used as a catalytic support to make MnOx/Mg-Al2O3 catalysts,and the catalysts activity of MnOx/Ma-Al2O3 catalysts for methane combustion was tested.The results show that the addition of Mg into Al2O3 suppressed the transformation of γ-Al2O3 and γ-Al2O3 and improved the thermal stability of Al2O3.MnOx/Mg-Al2O3 catalysts presented high catalytic performance for methane combustion and the optimal loading of Mg is 10% by weight percent.

  • The research of the performence influence by the deflection of the vent-pipe to the tradition cyclone sepertaor with upwind and exhaust gas

    According to the 35t/h throwing-boiler rebuilding projection,do some experiments and numerical simulation to research the performence influence by the deflection of the vent-pipe of the tradition cyclone sepertaor with upwind and exhaust gas.The results indicate that the deflection of the vent-pipe during 90°~270° degree and 0.1~0.14 can raise the seperating efficiency by about 2% and with no change of the resistance;the deflection of the vent-pipe during 180°~270° degree and 0.25~0.4 can reduce the seperating efficiency by about 5% but can also depress the resistance by 38%.The results of the numerical simulation explain the conclution of the experiment from the pressure distribution.

  • Review of thermal plasma generators used for pyrolysis of coal for acetylene

  • Study on coal blending to produce briquetting coke by using lean coal

    This paper discuss the means of coal blending to produce briquetting coke by using lean coal which is picked in the eighth mine in Pingdingshan.At the beginning of experiment,after all the raw material having to be crushed and screened,come to carry out proximate analysis.Second,according to the coal blending principle start to map out the way of coal blending.Third,after the briquetting coal having to be prepared by cold-pressed machine,then make the briquetting coal which have been made to be briquetting coke through cold pressing,measure the compressive strength and reactivity of briquetting coke.Finally,through complete test analysis,The experiment results showed that 90% lean coal blended with an amount of 10% fat coal could produce excellent briquetting coke.

  • Research on the treatment of coke plant wastewater simulated by phenol solution with bipolar three-dimensional electrode reactor

    Active carbon as filler materials,phenol solution as simulative wastewater,study on the influences of applied voltage,electrolysis time,initial pH,granule size of particles,electrolyte concentration on the removal rate of phenol were carried out,and the influence tendences were obtained.It indicated that,the removal rate of phenol was over 80%,when the applied voltage was 6V,original pH,granule size of active carbon was 2.360~4.750mm,concentration of NaCl was 1g/L,concentration of phenol was 500mg/L,the electrolysis time was 60 min.And the removal of phenol accorded with the first order reaction kinetics equation,with the reaction velocity constant was 0.0220 min-1.

  • Study on influencing factors for photo-catalytic removal of cyanide in coking wastewater

    Cyanide is seriously harmful to organisms.Photo-catalytic degradation and removal of cyanide in coking wastewater was examined by nano-TiO2 under Ultraviolet.Effect of pH of coking wastewater,the initial concentration of total CN-,amount of TiO2,temperature and aeration rate on removal of CN-in coking wastewater were investigated systematically.Experimental results show that removal rate of total CN-is 43.6% under the condition that pH is at 2.0~3.0,TiO2 amount is 0.3g/L,temperature is 30℃.Photo-catalytic removal of CN-accords with the first grade dynamic equation.When the volume of air is 0.8L/min,removal rate of total CN-can reach 58.2%.When the volume of oxygen is 1.0L/min,removal rate of total CN-can be up to 68.2%.And TiO2 can be recycled several times to reuse.

  • A study for treatment on the highly concentrated ammonium-nitrogen coking wastewater
