  • The Study on Removal of Trace Elements in Coal by Coal Preparation

    The removal of trace elements in coal during coal preparation was researched by float- sink testa.The results show that the removal of trace elements of coal is dominated by their organic affinity.For most coals,the el- ements of As,Cr,Hg,Mn,Ga,Ta,Ti,W and Cs have higher theoretical removal percentage.Generally speak- ing,the elements of B,Mo and Y etc.are difficult to be removed during coal washing.The theoretical removal percentage of Be,Se and Pb etc.varies largely from one coal to another,in accordance with their complex modes of occurrences in coals.

    To effective resolving the characteristics of large quantity of fine coal in coal slurry and the difficulty in processing in Pansan plant,from flocculating mechanism,using Ce4 + as initiator,St-AM was prepared by graft copolymerization and acrylamide onto starch,the FSM were experimented in flocculating test and be found to be a- ble to cause fine coal coagulate and produce settlement,obtain the purpose of separation of solid from liquid.. When the ratio of the FSM flocculants to coal slurry without water is 50g/t and coagulating agents is 1.5kg/t,the effect of settlement is the best,productive power is 75t/h,moisture of filter cake is about 25%,concentration of clarified liquid is about 60g/L,thus realizing coal cleaning with clean water,improving the pressure filtration effect and increasing the efficiency of coal processing,contrasting with PAM,the St-AM have cheapness,nontoxic and flocculating well,providing a effective way for fine coal slurry processing.

  • Rheology and Correction for Wall Slip on High Concentrated Coal Water Slurries

    Coal water mixtures are known to exhibit slip in their flows,but there have been not consistent conclu- sions acquired when applying the classic Mooney method and Jastrzebski method into high concentrated coal water slurries (CWS).On the basis of hypothesis about wall slip,the slip phenomenon of high concentrated CWS flows in pipes is investigated through tests in deferent pipelines.The effects of slip added flow on the overall flow rate of CWS transportation are focused.The real rheology and its distinct formula with a yield stress for high concentrated coal water slurry were proposed based on selection of a maximal slip index.

  • Study on Burning and Pyrolysis Features of the Composite Refuse Derived Fuel

    The combustion property and the release behavior of chlorine in composite refuse derived fuel (CRDF) were investigated respectively by thermogravimetric analysis and gas chromatography -mass spectrometry.The re- suits show that no distinct difference existed in the case of both combustion and pyrolysis,the release rate of inor- ganic chlorine in combustion reached 90% at temperature between 500~600℃,while it was about 76% in the case of pyrolysis,more kinds and high concentration of organic chlorine compounds released in pyrolysis when tem- perature was beyond 800℃.There were three prominent phases in the thermal process of CRDF according to ther- mogravimetric analysis:the first phase occurred at temperature between 200~300℃,the weight loss in this phase was about 38.5%;the second phase occurred at temperature between 400~500℃,the weight loss was 20.35%; while the last phase occurred slowly at the temperature between 600~800℃with 22.25% weight loss.

The structure of calcining coal gangue with calcite is loose,and some fusible mineral is filled in the interspace,in which some volatile gas leave behind.

    The coal ash fusion characteristics of high fusibility coal blending with two low fusibility coals respectively were studied and the result was analyzed by ternary phase diagram.The results indicate that the ash fusion point of high fusibility coal can be reduced effectively by coal blending.The trends of ash fusion point for two blended coals were not linear with the proportions of adding coal,but mirrored by changes in the liquidus temperature from terna- ry systems.The ternary systems are not only suitable for single coal but also for coal blends.The melting points of coal ashes that their components were closed to boundaries between regions or triple points were lower and changed more evident than those fare away from the boundaries between regions or triple points.Ternary systems can be well analyzed the melting behaviors of blending coal.The results of experiment were agreed with the theory analysis by using ternary phase diagrams.

    In this paper 0.03gCeO_2/g(γ-Al_2O_3)adsorbent was prepared by impregnation and characterized by X- ray diffraction which showed that the dispersion of CuO supported onγ-Al_2O_3 was submonolayer.Thermogravimetric technique was used to study the intrinsic sulfation kinetics of CeO_2/g-Al_2O_3 sorbent.With increasing SO2 concen- tration and temperature,conversion would increase.Intrinsic kinetics equation was R=1.1394E(-4)oexp(- 1508.39/T)mg/mg·s.Activation of CeO_2 supported onγ-Al_2O_3 lowered much compared with that of pure CeO_2. Activation energy,reaction order with respect to SO_2,and pre-exponential were 12540.78J/mol,first order,and 1.1394Exp (-4) mg(mgos)-1 respectively.0.03gCeO_2/g(γ-Al_2O_3) desulfurizer could be regenerated,but long time would reduce its regeneration performance.
