  • Influence of PAM on Flotation and Filtration of Fine Slime Coal

    The flotation and filtration test of Ximing coal were studied by using 7 kinds of PAM as additives. The result indicated that it can enhance the yield of cleaned coal, increase the slime water clarity, accelerate rate and reduce moisture content in press cake by adding PAM. Non-ionic and negative ionic PAM is better in 7 kinds of PAM. Furthermore, the effect of adding collector before adding PAM is better than reverse order has been demonstrated through adjusting the order of adding reagent.

The result is sown that, the more intense magnetic field and the less magnetization time can reduce viscosity of coal-water slurry remarkably, and besides, magnetization make adsorption quantity of coal-water slurry additive increasing. The magnetization mechanism of coal water mixture is also discussed.

  • Study on Activated Coke - CO2 Gasification Reaction by Programmed Heating Thermogravmetry

    Coke is made in pipe heater at higher carbonization temperature (more than 1000℃) and this coke is activated by steam at lower temperature (800℃) to obtain a activated coke. The gasification reaction between activated coke and CO2 was studied by using the programmed heating thermogravmetry. And the kinetic parameters were calculated by using the Ozawa and Kissinger methods. The result is shown that, with the increasing of coke making temperature, coal rank and heating rate the reactivity of activated coke decreased. According to the analysis of the results, multi-heating rates method (Ozawa and Kissinger method) is more compactable for the activated coke - CO2 reaction kinetics study.

  • Group Composition and Extraction Kinetics of Benzene/Methanol - Soluble Fractions from Two Guizhou Coal

    Two raw coals from Yueliangtian and Liuzhi coalmines in Cuizhou Province were extracted with benzene/methanol mixed solvent separately. The extracts were separated into different group composition by column chromatography and the group composition was analyzed with GC/MS. Extraction kinetics of two coals was contrasted. The test results shown that, mixed solvent has better effect on arenas. The extraction process can be described by two first order stage. Main composition in aliphatic fraction of extracts are normal alkenes and aromatic fraction mainly consist of arenas including benzene, naphthalene etc. O and S -containing compounds are observed in fractions of Liuzhi coal.

  • Study on the Effect of Surface Modified Fly Ash Size on the Strengthening Property of Rubber

    The fly ash with different sizes from Jixi power plant was treated with titanate as surface coupling agent to modify the fly ash surface properties. The properties of fly ash surface including active index, wetting angle, oil absorption rate etc. were measured. The modified fly ash was filled into rubber to increase it properties. The result is shown that, the size of fly ash has a great affected on the rubber properties. The modified fly ash of -0.0432mm grade exhibits the best performance in respect to rubber properties. Also the fly ash can take the place of some decomposition, so that the dosage of decomposition in rubber can be reduced resulting the low producing cost of rubber and the low pollution of fly ash.

    This paper introduces the research that the chemical oxygen demand in de-phenol effluent of coking plant commonly goes beyond the national standard. It uses the extinguishing coke powder that is made in the coke-oven to absorb the bio-chemical effluent or uses the active extinguishing coke powder and the animalcule active sludges to combine the aeration to dispose the coking wastewater. This method makes the COD in the coking plant biochemical effluent accord with the national standard. To some extents, this disposal method is able to replace the three-grade disposal of wastewater, that mean is to replace the further disposal of wastewater. This method has a potential and tremendous benefit to the society and economy.
