The oxidation process of pyrite surface is discussed thoroughly. The surface oxidation products of pyrite are also analyzed using scanning Electron Microscope and X-ray Diffraction (XRD). The mechanism of pyrite surface oxidation is put forward in this paper.

In this study the slime filter cake that is derived from wet preparation process is crushed quanlititively to regulate the size and dried out moisture content at first stage. Then ccording to the quality standard of commodity steam coal it may combine with steam coal for sale.Therefore the large quantity slimes can be sold as a market product. The influence factors of uniform speed and approach speed drying stage in pass through drying process were analyzed in terms of theory. The pilot plant and commercial experiment of crushing and drying process are introduced briefly.

The structures of coal-phenolic resin were analyzed by means of IR, NMR, TGA and measurement of average molecular weight. Its structural characteristics were preliminarily discussed. The IR of coal-phenolic resin is similar to that of linear-phenolic resin whose basic aromatic-skeleton were substituted by hydroxyl and methylene group at 1. 2. 4 positions. It proves that the molecular structural parameters of both resins are very similar. The coal-phenolic resin has good performance and low production cost. It has broad industril prospects.

Surface moisture and ash content are vary high and heating value and shatter strengths are very low of the Jilin peat. Experiment result by external heating devolatilization is shown that, the devolatilization gas output reached 189 2 m 3/t air dry basis peat and the heating value is 12 35 MJ/m 3 at 950℃. It can be used as a fuel gas. The air dry sized peat can be gasified to produce low heating value gas when air used as gasifcation agent. It can also be produced the midium heating value gas if the oxygen is used as gasification agent. These results are obtained from diameter 100 mm fixed bed pilot plant gasifier.
