  • CLEAN COAL TECHNOLOGY AS MAIN SUPPORT FOR CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF COAL INDUSTRY

    In China, the coal as a main energy will not be changed in future. Clean coal technology is a main support for continued development of coal industry. A system of clean coal engineering and technology can be considered as follows; the clean coal technology as a center, developing the technologies and engineering which are including the coal preparation, coal chemistry, high efficiency and clean combustion in mine mouth power station and clean coal mine areas. And a comprehensive development base of coal utilization will be formed through certain combination of these technology and engineering as mentioned above. The concept should be changed and the policies based on the correponding law should be laid down for development of clean coal technology are discussed in this paper.

  • COAL PROCESSING UTILIZATION AND CLEAN COAL TECHNOLOGIES IN CHINA

    This paper generalizes the achievements of coal processing and comprehensive utilization in China. However, some of the phenomenous at present are also pointed out, such as low coal washing rate, coking is mainly technology in coal conversion and lay stress on coking and look down on chemical products processing et al. Obviously, the deep processing of coal use is very weak. Depend upon the features of coal resources and principle of lay equal stress on economic development and environmental control, to develop the clean coal technologies is bound route. Some of the countermeasures, such as to strengthen cooperation of sectors between the coal production and users, research departmernts and enterprises, and to expend the international cooperation are also discussed.

  • CHEMICAL STABILITY OF SULFUR IN COAL AND DEVELOPMENT OF CLEAN COAL TECHNOLOGY

    Sulfur is a main impurity in coal and it affects the coal utilization process and environmental control. In this paper, the investigation of chemical stability of inorganic and organic sulfur in coal is introduced. In general, inorganic sulfur and a part of organic sulfur in coal may be removed through chemical purification process. Also, the development routes of clean coal technology are discussed.

  • LINKING NATIONAL CONDITIONS, DEVELOPING COAL PREPARATION TECHNOLOGIES FOR CLEAN USE

    Depend upon the characteristics of high sulfur content and difficult preparation coal, how to use the coal resources in rational and to decrease environmental pollution are very important issues. Therefore, the coal deep processing is a major measure and it can save the energy and transportation for raising the economic and society benefit. Based on these situations, the status and existing problems of coal preparation technologies for clean use are discussed in this paper. The priority research project of coal preparation technologies are also suggested.

  • PRELIMINARY RESEARCH RESULTS ON PRESSURIZED HOT GAS DESULFURIZATION

  • PRELIMINARY STUDY ON A NEW DISTILLATION PROCESS FOR JET FEEDSTOCK OF BLAST FURNACE AND TOWN GAS MANUFACTURE WITH ZHALAINUOER LIGNITE

    The preliminary results, which are the jet feedstock of blast furnace and town gas manufacture with Zhalainuoer lignite at 10 t/h continual experiment equipment, is introduced in this paper. A medium heating value gas of distillation was gained and it is in accord with the town gas standard. The semi-coke product, which possesses low ash, sulfur and volatile content and high reactivity, is a good quality of jet feedstock for blast furnace.
